I have already got this deal in March 2020 but wanted to get feedback on whether it was a good deal, location California:

Lease: 36 months 12k miles a year

I see there is a $1000 rebate for taking a test drive at participating BMW dealers from September 8 - 12, and then the $1000 is valid for you or a family member up until the beginning of November.

Does anyone know if I take the test drive and register for the $1000, can I use the rebate later on at a different dealership that was also offering the sale but which I did not test drive at?

I ask this because a dealer close to me has it, but the dealership where we have purchased numerous bmw's is very far away but also participating in the program. Im waiting till end of month to pull the trigger and not prepared to drive a long distance before the test drive event ends.
