    June 1, just got Palisade Ltd, $500 lease credit, 60% residual, and .00219 MF in 77471, tier 1 credit report, 36/12k.

    MF seemed high, but they insisted lowest it was coming up, accurate?

    The numbers we quote are the Hyundai Finance numbers.

    Yes, it would be better if they had just admitted they were marking up the rate.

    But, lease rates aren't like APRs for a loan, because in the end you are renting the vehicle for an agreed upon payment. They don't have the same disclosure rules. Of course, they wouldn't have to admit they were marking up an APR, either.

    We'll see. I'd argue it's a violation of Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act on misrepresentation and unconscionably. It didn't come up during the sales process I'm a litigator with large-firm resources.
