Is it common for BMW to have the same residuals for different model years?

example 2019 5 series is at 57% residual and so are 2020 5 series. The only difference appears to be incentives, just strange that its the same residual. I would have assumed a 2019 is worth less due to a newer model year being available.

There is no rhyme or reason why the bank sets the numbers the way they do.

Yes, I too find it interesting that the RV is the same. However, you should be able to get a bigger discount from MSRP on the outgoing model year.

The bmw dealer said they do a 42 month lease . What would the depreciation and money factor be for that ? Any loyalte or incentives availabe???? Thank you very much in advance!!

There are 42 month leases, but you aren't going to want one, once you see the payment, relative to a 36 month lease.

The trade allowance/payoff is irrelevant, as they are the same number.

The money factor is marked up from .00142 to .00182.
Without the markup, the payment would be $815.03.

Discount is 6.2% of MSRP.. That is sort of a "meh" discount. Coupled with the MF markup, it makes for a bad deal.

With 7% off MSRP and the base MF, you'd just sneak under $800/mo., with 1st payment Due at Signing.

That shouldn't be too hard to get.
