    Lower trim levels tend to have lower numbers.

    Am I doing the math wrong? One of the local Toyota dealers was giving me a cap cost of $26000 for an SE with the Convenience package. The residual and MF for a 36/15 is 52% and .00031. They are saying the lease payment would be over $500. Even with my state requiring full tax worked in, I'm coming up with a payment more than $100 less than that. Am I off??


    They acted like that was the best possible deal they could do. Fortunately, there are a lot of other Toyota dealers in town if I need to go somewhere else.

    Is that the gross or the net cap cost?

    You need the net cap cost, with the taxes and fees added in, to do the calculations correctly.

    What is the MSRP?

    Can you get the dealer to share a copy of their lease worksheet?
