    I'm also curious if you know whether this model or the Audi A5 Coupe will likely be a better deal?
    I've had great luck leasing former loaners; do you know if there's a standard time of year when most dealers put them up for lease?

    Audi's generally have poor lease programs, but you should get whatever car you be happiest driving the next 3 years.

    Not sure that there is a time of year when loaners become available; it's probably due mostly to mileage.

    As I noted on another thread, I got .00022 MF (0.53% interest equivalent) with 10 multiple security deposits on a 2020 GLC AWD FULLY LOADED (60,039 MSRP), huge discount plus 55% residual. The dealer is in Orange County, CA.

    The shocker is that AFTER I received this deal a San Diego dealer I had previously shopped contacted me with the standard (in the current program) .00092 MF (2.2% equivalent) ON THE VERY SAME CAR. Oh, and that was on a considerably higher price.

    The Kicker: That was with AND without the MSD. With the MSD, especially 10 of them (the max with Mercedes), you should get a huge cut in the MF. If you don't, walk away. I'm guessing the dealers pad these, if they can get away with doing so.

    Moral of the story: Shop, shop and shop again.

    I have no idea why you would put a down payment on a lease. And if you did (which the dealers try to get you to do as a "cap cost reduction" to get the monthly payment down) you wouldn't instead do a MSD. After all, not only do you wind up with a lower monthly payment and lower finance charges, but you get that money back in the end.
