It's normal - I paid tax on my dispo fee on my leased Jetta last year.

Any non-government fee is subject to tax.

Hi all. I have been lurking here for a while researching on what to look for when leasing. I am currently leasing a 2018 C300 and this lease ends in October. Now my dealer in Miami offered me to cover the remaining four payments to get me in a new lease and I am very intrigued. However, the car I want would have a very specific configuration and no dealer has it in stock. The are saying I can order it with a deposit of $1,000 but with no guarantee as to what incentives will be available when the car arrives to the dealer lot. OR they can do a dealer trade with a dealer in Alabama for a car that has everything I want plus more. Obviously, the price for this car is higher (MSRP $54,450 + $995 delivery).

I plan on putting $2k down (that includes all fees, taxes and first months payment) and the car I am looking at has been sitting on the dealer lot in Alabama for 150+ days. Now with current MF of .00053%, RV of 57% (7.5K miles) and Edmunds suggested great price of $48,467 I get a monthly payment of around $530/month incl. Florida State Sales Tax of 7%.

Would that be good deal or did I do the math wrong?

I appreciate any help/suggestions/tips. Thanks a lot!

You'd have to ask them about that; if it's coming from another state, I'd expect it to cost something to get the car to your local dealer. It stands to reason they'd pass that cost along to you.
