Thanks kyfdx. I am currently in the middle of negotiating with dealerships, and some of the dealerships are providing quotes that does not calculated correctly. For example, one of the dealership gave me a quote with net cap cost of $21006 (MSRP 23620), and the monthly payment they gave me was about $300 (including tax of 9.5%). But when I did the math to calculate the monthly payment, $258.53. I raised this question to them, and they are not giving a clear answer. Do Mazda dealerships use different method to calculate the lease monthly payment?

The math is the math - everybody calculates it the same way.

What's different are the numbers. Keep asking them to explain things that don't make sense, until you understand them.

Don't forget to account for DMV fees and acquisition fee.

Also, Mazda dealers can markup the money factor by as much as .00050.
