For a 2020 A6 45 Premium Plus in Zip Code 07039, my local dealer is quoting only $3,000 in factory lease cash inventive. Can you please confirm whether this is correct, or whether it is $3,500 (or whether the $3,500 is for the A6 55 Premium Plus)? Thank you so much!

Check with multiple dealers to see if you get the same answer.

my understanding is that more downpayment will cause the total loan money lease to go down and hence less interest.

Should i pay less? $3500 maybe? I am not quite sure.

It is a typical lease payment for this vehicle. The residuals are very low, which doesn't help.

I wouldn't pay $38/mo. for wear/tear insurance.

Is that valid argument to keep wear and tear for 1250?

And, depending on your driving style, you may not need to replace them at all.

Dealer scare tactics, IMO.

What if you need tires after two years? Those plans don't pay for mid-lease replacements.

If you think your tires will be safe until the day you turn it in, but then require replacement at that time, then sure, it might pay off.
