Received an email response from the dealership and they’re going to “make good” by sending an SD navigation card via mail. Dealer indicated they made an “error” in this case.

Had a month left on my current CX9 lease but jumped on a new one last weekend because the deal was so good and I was afraid the programs would change for the worse this month. Got a 2020 Soul Red AWD GT 36/10

$45,245 MSRP

-$650 lease to lease (waives $650 aquisition fee)
+$1227 taxes and fees

$378 / month with only first month down. Considering my 2017 Signature was $200 / month more I'm pretty happy with it. They even threw in a $700 Simoniz Glass coat for free which I never would have paid for and regret even accepting it for free. Took them about 20 minutes (for $700 really?) and left a haze that I spent all day yesterday polishing off. A $10 "Deluxe" wax coating at the car wash would have likely provided better results. Also got Chase to waive the $300 disposition fee on my turn in that they initially refused to waive because it's now Chase to Toyota not Chase to Chase with the new lease. Other than Simoniz contamination it was a good weekend.

To offer you some perspective, in late April, I negotiated similar parameters on a 2020 GT, AWD, 15k/36 and our sales price as a percentage of MSRP was almost identical (yours was 9.28% off sticker and mine 9.70%). The difference was a mere $132.49 and the incentives, at $2,870, matched dollar for dollar. $0/down, $0 disposition, First month only. Unfortunately we did pay premium doc fee at $699 so that wasn't ideal.

I'd be keen to know additional details for your deal. Of the $1,227 in taxes and fees, what is breakdown for the following?

Sales/use tax : ?
Initial title, license, registration (DMV) fee : ?
Acquisition fee : $650
Dealer document processing fee : ?
Plate postage, tire fee, etc. : ?

I always appreciate hearing from others re: recent deals which is why I responded - our CX-9 has been great thus far. Enjoy the car!
