What are the residual % and money factor?

Keen to see the following as well (though I realize these would be captured within the Adj. Cap Cost):
    - Sales/use tax
    - Initial title, license, registration fee i.e. DMV
    - Acquisition fee (assume $650)
    - Dealer document processing fee

Could I please have the lease numbers for the CX-9 GT for 36/15k and 36/18k in zip 60411?

    FWD or AWD?

We don't have the 18K/yr residuals
Thanks and AWD. Have you heard of anyone getting a 18K mileage lease w Mazda? I know other brands do it.
    36/15
    .00005 and 56%
    No incentives

You can lease for 18K, there just aren't any published residuals; likely the dealer will adjust the residual based on a per mile deduction (maybe .20 or .25 per mile)
Thanks. Just a couple questions since I am pretty sure I’d like to lease a CX9.

    1. When I shop around, do I up front ask for these residuals and money factors or try to negotiate to these?

    2. How much is too much to put down on a lease for a CX9 Touring or GT? Is 4000 too much? Thanks again.

Anything more than the first month is too much down. If You drive off the lot and you total your car, those $4,000 are as good as gone.

Roll everything into your payments unless you absolutely need to have a lower monthly payment. Then I would refer you to my first point, you are out the full amount due at signing.

Unless those $4000 are used as MSDs to lower the money factor then steer clear of putting anything down besides first months payment.

When a dealer gives you a quote, ask for all of the details. Since you know the correct money factor, you'll be able to see if they marked up the rate.

The whole point of a lease is to pay for it by the month. In Illinois, 1st payment and DMV/doc fees is all you need to put upfront.

    Hello,

This is the deal I was offered for 36 months and 15K per year w/ $3500 down without GAP:

Mazda CX-9 GT AWD - $470/month plus 1 year free maintenance

    Residual: 56% MF: 0.000055

Mazda CX-9 Touring w Premium Package AWD - $409/month month plus 1 year free maintenance

Apparently Mazda Financial Services doesn't offer GAP anymore built in since Toyota took over. Is this a good deal?

$360 is getting in a decent range. You might get it cheaper than that, but $250 might be the bottom.
Better to have GAP from TFS, if you have a TFS lease.

Please provide the typical MF, resdidual and any incentives for loyalty, existing leases etc. for a 36/10 lease on a 2020 AWD GT in 05446 and 03303. In addition do you know anything about Mazda Financial Services (which I hear is actually now Toyota instead of Chase) Waiving aquisition fee's for existing lease customers? My dealer told me a month ago that they were doing this now he's telling me it's a $650 rebate which is essentially waiving the fee. Has anybody heard anything about it?

Mazda Finance is now run by Toyota Financial Services.

There is a "lease to lease" rebate for $650, which you could construe as covering the $650 TFS acquisition fee, but as noted, it isn't an actual waiver.

    There is also $1500 loyalty

    .00005 MF and 59% residual

$720 lease cash in NH, but not in VT

So NH and VT both have $1500 loyalty and $650 lease to lease but in addition NH has an additional $720 lease cash? And for the $650 lease to lease does the vehicle have to be turned in?
    Correct on all.

Yes, for the $650, the leased car must be returned.
Just wanted to confirm the zip where the vehicle is purchased is what determines the applicable rebates not the zip where the buyer lives right?

    Correct, dealer zip determines incentives.

One last question...not sure if anybody can answer this but hoping to finally understand it. Wondering about negotiating with Mazda S or E plan pricing (or any other manufacturer for that matter) It's fairly easy to get a pin number for these which can make car buying easy. I often notice however that many competitive dealers seem to offer similiar or better pricing without the plan discounts. Now if a dealer is offering for example a $3,000 dealer discount before rebates but you provide a plan pin that gives a $3200 discount isn't that likely better for the dealer as they are now getting additional $ back from Mazda. Assuming that's how it works is it reasonable to expect that if the dealer was discounting the car $3,000 before that they might be able to beat the plan pricing somewhat and still have the same or better profit than they would have had without the plan (Everybody benefits)?

A dealer can't use a plan price, then deviate from that price. If the deal isn't exact, then it gets kicked back.

Good to know....thanks. So use whichever is better, dealer discount or plan. And if the they are similiar use the plan to help the dealer get something additional back.

Just wanted to confirm once again that incentives are based on dealer location not the buyers? I know this was answered already but I'm shopping hard today and a dealer is trying to tell me the opposite. Wanted to be 100% sure I'm right before pushing back.
    (email from salesman)
"Similar to sales tax, rebates are based on the zip code where the vehicle will be registered. It is not determined by where the vehicle is purchased."

So far as we know, incentives follow the dealer location. Are you shopping multiple states? Have you confirmed with multiple dealers?

Sales tax varies - I know in CA, it's the dealer location, though in CO it's based on the registration address.

Going to have to travel a bit but finally found the colors and options I'm looking for. Can you please provide the MF / Residual and incentives (loyalty, lease to lease and customer cash) for a 2020 AWD GT 36/10 in 01462 and 02062 if it's any different.

Thanks for all of you're help.

Even though the incentive is by dealer location, it is possible that they can restrict incentives for those out of their region.

Took delivery on a 2020 CX-9 GT/AWD and the vehicle is impressive thus far. However, much to my surprise, I discovered the Mazda Navigation was EXCLUDED - a HUGE disappointment.

Dealership/salesman said, "Mazda Navigation is only included on the Signature trim, since they started including Apple/Android Car Play". We assumed Car Play was included in ADDITION to the Mazda Navigation (not in lieu of).

Is this accurate? I understood the GT to include the Navigation. Is this negotiable at this point?

    Thanks, as always.

Sorry, we have no insight into option or trim packages.
If your deal is done, I don't see what you have left to negotiate.
