The above deal sounds great. I leased T6 momentum -7 for $1376 down with MRSP of about $62,000 for $699 a month. 36 month at 12K a year. Much better than me. This unfortunately was the last T6 momentum -7 at dealership.

My upfront was 1st month, motor vehicle fees, and miscellaneous fees. I rolled in acquisition fee and dealer fee into lease payment. Dealer fee near me is very high. I found a vehicle I wanted, figured out invoice, and subtracted $2,000 lease cash and costco $1250. Based on this number I was given about another $2500 off. As above, I felt I paid a lot per month, but based on your zip code, the prices can be variable.

The residual and money factor given by Michael or kyfdx or the right ones. Do not let the dealer tell you different. numbers. I always roll in the acquisition fee and dealer fee/ doc fee into the payment. I give the 1st month, motor vehicle fee, tire fee, battery fee, and certain taxes into upfront fee. Often get money back as motor vehicle fee often overestimated. You can have $0 upfront rolled in. Now know the invoice of the vehicle, lease cash and other discounts you are entitled to. This will help in analyzing the deal. There regional difference in price due to taxes, dealer/doc fees, and supply/demand. I hope this helps.

1) In MD, since you pay sales tax on the full selling price, I'd roll everything in, as it doesn't affect your tax. If you were in a state where the tax is collected on the monthly payment, the advice would be different.

2) Not necessarily, you could roll that in, as well, but no point in that.

3) The residual is fixed by the bank, and cannot be altered. Money factors can be marked up by the dealer for extra profit. You want to make sure that doesn't happen.

That does look like it equals .0014 money factor and the residual is 60%. But I don't think I am getting $3,000 lease bonus. What is an example of a lease bonus, is Costco discount part of it?

I think you got a great deal. I have been negotiating on the XC90 and other vehicles. The XC90 was the best deal around for a luxury vehicle. I think my deal was not that great, but the best I could due in my location.

Yeah, I'm very confused. What is adj cap cost. The calculator has the tax levied upfront included in the calculations. It is a sign and drive deal. Here is how I entered it all in the calculator. I set it at capitalize all payments.

This is what they sent me now. These car salesmen are terrible humans. They do everything to hide all the information. Is the Volvo/dealer incentives in the selling price? I don't know how to negotiate that part.

If they are using the base MF, the adjusted CAP cost would be about $55,500.
That would include the sales tax and $995 acquisition fee, plus the $389 electronic filing fee. And, also account for the rebate.

Looks like they knocked off about $1000 from your first quote.

Of course, they didn't actually send you the lease paperwork, as there is no mention of the selling price, the acquisition fee or the adjusted CAP cost.
