I'm new to this forum and the world of leasing. So forgive me if my questions sound silly.
I am interested in leasing a 2021 Volvo XC60 AWD. From what you told me the the RV is .58 and the MF is .00055.. So first question is if these are set, I can assume all the Volvo dealers in my area are using these exact numbers? The quote I got was for no money down yet I know I will pay some fees...title, doc fees, but what else might not be included in the monthly lease? Are acquisition fees common? Is tax usually included? Also how is tax computed? If I subtract the RV from the Cap net cost and multiply by the rate here of 7 percent the taxes are no where near what the dealer shows. Thank you for your help. I have looked at many online calculators and my lease deal is either really good or there is something I am missing!

The residual is fixed by the bank, and the dealer can't alter it.
The dealer may markup the money factor for extra profit. The base MF of .00055 is the lowest it can be.

$995 lease acquisition fee
Illinois collects sales tax upfront, rather than on each payment.
Sales tax is calculated on the sum of all payments.
Example: $600 payment X 36 payments = $21,600 taxable.

Any of those fees/taxes can be added to the CAP cost if you wish (with a corresponding increase in payment).

It seems that you don't really know what "no money down" actually means, in relation to this quote. Did they give you an amount Due at Signing, along with the monthly payment quote?

What is the MSRP of the vehicle you were quoted?
What is the monthly payment quote?

The MSRP is $57,255 for the inscription 2021 AWD w the packages and destination charge.
Nothing is due at signing except "fees" and first months payment. I will have to ask what other fees. He said zero down. The monthly lease offered is $588/mo for 36 months. 10K miles. They must be charging a higher MF bc I can't get the number to come out to $588.
I asked specifically about taxes and he said rolled up in payment. ???
But with that said, I feel like it is a good deal.

It may be a good deal. Until you know the amount Due at Signing, we won't know for sure.
