I just went to our local dealer at 94538 to talk about leasing a 992 c2s.
The dealer told me the MMR is $143k for C2S which is as same as the number posted in this thread, but the MF he gave me is equal to something around 7% APR which is close to 0.003 MF. And, he said because of lack of quota in the US, they marked up their MF, is this true? How can I get 0.002 MF?
He also told me the current waiting time is about 8 months, and also depends on the quota they have. Is this true as well?

Dealer can mark up the MF - and, most do. Short supply puts the dealer in the position of strength.
Same with the availability. Not sure that the factory is up to 100% capacity yet.

Does it mean we may not get the number posted in this thread from the dealer since they mark up the MF? Although we can see the lowest MF here, but some dealers are impossible to give that low rate.
I asked another dealer in SoCal after my last post, and that dealer gave me 0.0024. Probably need to ask more dealers and see if anyone can give me 0.002

Correct - you may not see the .00200 from any dealer. How far are you willing to travel to get the base rate?

I'm living in NorCal, and I can travel to SoCal, Oregon, Nevada, and even Washington to get the bast rate. Based on the car price with my configuration, the difference between 0.00200 and 0.00240 is around $200 each month. So, if I can get 0.00200, I probably can get the car at any of the places where I can get it towed to my home as long as the towing cost is not too high. Well, if the dealer gives free maintenances in a certain auto retailer chain like auto nation, the thing may be different

That's why you come here to find out the base rate. Without that knowledge, you wouldn't know to negotiate it.
