So in the end, Mercedes is much higher than the $510 per month I am willing to pay w/1K down at signing, 36 month, 7,500 on an AWD GLC300. They would meet my price w/a sizable increase in cash up front, and that is not acceptable so I walked away. Sadly after 4 MB leases, I may have to move on to another brand. Almost $600 for this car when I'm paying well under $500 not is just too much.

Perhaps they are digging in their heals but even the best deal I was quoted is $65 a month more than I'd pay, and the rest are like 200-250 a month higher. It's as if they don't even look and see what I'm currently paying (I am sure they can access it).

Oh well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it matters what you're currently paying. The numbers are the numbers. The only thing the dealer can lower is the selling price, and they all have a number they can't or won't go below. It's just an unfortunate point in time for you, where current lease factors are weak on the model you want right when you're in the market. It happens to most of us at some point. Hopefully you find a good alternative. As great as MB is, they're not the only game in town.

What I'm finding is that nobody is getting lease deals as good as the last one they had, 3 years ago. The market is different, and dealers are not discounting as much as before.

Lots of folks are having to adjust their expectations.

Really? I went to Stevens Creek just to get a quote on C300 a few day ago, they replied me with something like $725/month (0 down, MSRP $48100, 12% off). It's a little hard to imagine a GLC can be much cheaper. Pardon me since I'm new to the forum if I'm missing something.
