    36/10, red exterior with a white interior, F-Sport NX300 to be registered in NYC but bought from NJ dealership

    MSRP: $45,305
    Selling Price: $42,168.75
    Residual Value: 57% $25,823.85
    Adjusted Cap Cost: $38,165.54

    Qualified for the .00005 MF, loyalty $1500, $2250 NX rebate, and wave of first month by Lexus but I still see it in the DAS because they said it was used as rebate...??? I don’t know how that worked out.

    Monthly: $343.51

    Fees:
    $1584.52 in taxes at 8.875%
    $150 transfer of plate
    $795 acquisition or bank fee
    $599 document or dealer fee for NJ dealer
    $343.51 first month payment
    Total due at signing:
    $3,472.03

    If they are waiving the first payment, wouldn't it make sense to roll in as many of those upfront costs as possible, getting a bigger payment to waive?

    True... if you pay the tax in NY upfront, you'll save a little money. You could still roll in the acq. and doc fee, though.

    Correct about the DAS, assuming that the check you write is actually $343 less than the DAS.

    I don't have much experience with leasing, so forgive my lack of information. I guess I just want to see if someone can help me determine if this at least sounds somewhat reasonable, but I will have to gather more information from him when I have more time. MSRP 44K. They would not give me selling price until I committed more (which seemed shady). He just assured me that he took off a lot for incentives, etc.

    Quoted me at 4,000 out of pocket to drive off and $420 a month. 15k a year/ lower NY. The monthly payment doesn't seem terrible, but upfront fee looks high.

    Ask them for a screen shot of their lease worksheet, then post it here. We can review it and tell you what's going on.

    I wouldn't start any lease with $4K out of pocket.

    In Florida, you pay taxes on the monthly payment, so the tax amount is not relevant.

    I'd push back on the dealer about that.

    36/12 residual is 54%; 36/10 is 55% - another point to clarify with the dealer.

    Assuming you want 36/10, those prices give me $380/mo, before tax.

    So, the quote is right, but the way the dealer got there seems a bit off.

    Ask them for a screen shot of their lease worksheet from the computer.

    So assuming I can get $380 pre tax with $2k down here, this is pretty decent no? It works out to cap cost in the 35k's which is more or less invoice price for the base NX right? I mean 499 and 799 fees suck but other than that...
