    Because im inquiring a dealership a little ways from me, and hes telling me these numbers over the phone and i havent really seen the discounted amount. But he did say it and it was about 9k.

    Whats weird is that i inquired about another audi same specs without black optic package. MSRP is at 48.3k. That dealership was able to do the same terms and leave it at $430 all in. 1k out of pocket. Only thing is thats not the interior i would want so im pushing the 49k car to match it at 430. He says its not possible anymore but i think if the other dealer can, so can this one

    Maybe, maybe not.

    Could be that the first dealer needs that one extra sale to meet a volume bonus, whereas the second dealer isn't as motivated.

    Or, the GM at the second dealer needs to make the tuition payment for their daughter's prep school, and wants to grind out as much profit on each transaction as possible.

    In other words, I wouldn't assume that because one dealer can make a deal, that all others can or will match it.
