The add ons are required from the dealer. Wheel locks, cargo tray, all weather mats, nitrogen tires.

OK, that's good for you. Knocks the tax rate from 6.25% to 1.25% on the purchase price.

The $2500 doesn't help you, at all - that adds roughly $75/mo to the payment.

Have you shopped around? Is this the best quote you've gotten?

Yes, this is the best offer I received. Unfortunately, many other local Acura dealerships are adding much more in add-ons.
And a few others are adding to the money factor. Could I pay for the add on in cash?

You calculate the payment with the lower MF, then sum up the payments, and that's the amount you give to the dealer when you sign the paperwork.

Hello. I would like to check my lease offer. I don't think it's good. It's 36m/12k with our trade equity ($4,700) in the deal. Sale price of Aspec MDX is $61,195 (nobody will give me an msrp deal in my area). The payment is $813.28 and includes taxes and all fees rolled in (tax is 8.5%). The dealer is doing something weird, I think, but I know they really want our trade. This deal includes the $4700 equity and also $1,000 in loyalty bonus. Please let me know what my payment should be if there's nothing weird going on with the numbers. I should be at 55% residual and .00085MF.

$57200 adjusted CAP to get that payment, with 8.5% sales tax.

Doesn't look too far off, once you add in acquisition fee and DMV charges.

No lease deal is going to look good, if you are paying over MSRP.

If you have $4700 in equity, have you thought about buying out the lease on the car you have?

Yeah we thought about that but I hate selling cars on my own and it's time for a new one for my wife I just don't feel like there are any good deals to be had in the new car market. Sign of the times.

We are in California, yes. I sent an email to a dealer 100m away and asked if they could beat the all-in price they have the same blue a-spec with red interior in stock. But I went to the Acura site and put in the numbers adjusted for taxes and fees the payment is still $30 lower. Just wish I knew where the difference comes from and if I can squeeze anything else out. I am sure I can get free all weather mats and maybe a few oil changes and call it a day. I don't see getting a good deal in California at this time, sadly.
