What is your location?
Do you know the selling price, or is it MSRP?
$5000 down, plus first payment and fees, or $5000 total cash out of pocket?

Do you have a specific breakdown from the dealer?

I show the 36/12 lease numbers as .00100 and 59%; dealer is marking up the MF on you, slightly.

Using the MSRP as the selling price, and assuming the $5000 covers all your up front costs, I get $477/mo with the .00120 MF

$466/mo with the base MF of .00100

I'll guess that some of that $5K is going to cap reduction; would be good to know exactly how much.

This may be a naive question- but... what happens if you order a car today and it is scheduled to come in around 10-12 weeks later. Is your deal based on the numbers you received when you placed the order or when the car arrives? And if the numbers are better, or worse, do you get to choose the best one?

I know that with BMW (MINI parent company), you get the choice of programs of when you order or when the car arrives. The whole program, however - can't pick and choose.

I think it's the same with MINI, but discuss with your dealer to confirm.

15k/year, 36 month lease. 91604 zip.

dealer quoted me .00167 and said mini is now doing a fixed MF regardless of credit score and just requiring a bigger downpayment if the credit score is subpar. sounds like bologne to me..
