I don't see any incentives for the supported lease programs in your region. They exist if you take the 'standard' MF, which I'm sure is much higher than what I've given you.

If you purchase, you qualify for tax credits, but there is no straight up EV incentive like there is if you lease.

There is a $2000 purchase incentive if you use the Volvo standard APR, and a $500 incentive if you use the subvented APR rate.

I'm sorry if I keep coming back to this, but how does the bank (Volvo Cars Financial Services in this case) decide on the money factor? I just can't figure out why a B5 can have a MF as low as 0.00124 (~3% APR) and a Recharge can have a MF as high as 0.00299 (~7.2% APR) - or higher in some other posts. Other than the bank just feels like recouping all the "lease bonus / cash"?

Previous replies have suggested that the dealer has "no control" over it, but I mean really, Volvo Cars and Volvo financial services might be technically separate entities but they're both Volvo. Or is it just marked up by the dealer and the actual interest rate from the actual bank is the same?

The dealer is NOT Volvo. They just sell Volvos.

Yes, the bank/Volvo is recouping the lease cash.

The rate we give you is the base rate. The dealer can mark it up.

Moral of the story: Just because there is a big incentive doesn't mean it's going to be a good deal.

The $3000 is a factory to dealer incentive, and won't be listed anywhere. The dealer can choose to pass this along to you in the form of a lower selling price.

Negotiate harder, now that you know it exists.
