The salesperson told me that dealer has to add 40 points to it, and the real MF would be 0.00205.
I thought whatever MF is it stays the same. Was I wrong?

I would not accept any mark up on outgoing model although m550 sells faster and dealer may not be willing to move. What kind of discount did you get off MSRP?
I've been considering 550i but there aren't too many available so I might go test drive 540i. I read the reviews before both 340 and m3 steering was a bit numb and had a bit play in the center, I was surprised, I thought 540 still used the older steering but anything is possible. Are you cross shopping bmw with anything else?

Thank you For the information. Do you think I should accept an inflated money factor or fight to get it to .00165? Also, I didn't see any lease incentives when I checked their website. I've never leased from BMW so loyalty is out for me. Do you happen to know invoice on this? The demand for this car is a little soft right now due to the expired tax credit. I may fight to get to invoice. I appreciate the help
