Thank you so much! The MF went down that much for March? Wasnt it just .00185 for February? I have an order that was placed in December locked in for MF .0019. The great thing is I can call to revise it since my car is not delivered yet! Yay!

That is correct - BMW gives you the choice of using the lease program in place at the time the order was submitted, or the program in place when the car is delivered.

My current deal locked in from December 2022 for an ordered lease 2023 530i xDrive is $636mo. MSRP $63470 they are discounting the car $5420 off $3000 incentive $500 military incentive $5000 cash down. Bringing my ADJ CAP COST to $51750 with added fees. Is this a good deal?

The special money factor is only on the 39 month term, and only if you qualify for loyalty.

If they give you the same deal, but with the new terms (and for 39 months), then it should knock down your payment, substantially. Or, maybe you could put less down, and get the same payment?

We aren't in the market, so can't tell you if your discount is good.

One last question! Sorry. The 56% residual doesnt change since the lease is 39mo. instead of 36mo.? On the 2023 BMW 530i.

do you think 850 to 900 per month payment is a realistic target?

I am hearing of 8% dealer discount from brokers and that is how figured out a payment that can fall anywhere between 850 to 900

If you could roll (usually doesn’t happen) this 250 then effectively I am paying 954/955 a month

Returned a leased car for which they waived everything in terms of potential damage to the car that is usually billed by BMW (there wasn’t any but usually charges for dings scratches and parts add up)

I was aiming for 890 to 925 range but they weren’t even offering anything close so had to give in not to mention other dealers offered far worse

You can also adjust my effective monthly based on the fact that BMW charges you anywhere from 500 to 1500 on lease end depending on the level of unacceptable wear and tear + parts that may need replacement including brakes and tires (I am not talking about lease disposition fee) - this waiver itself is worth some money!

I would have roughly paid around 750 to 800 for the exact same car depending on miles and incentives - definitely no more than 850 a month

That is my guess

Another guess is that 1/3 of the increase in monthly payments is due to the higher interest rates and 2/3 of the increase is due to a supply shortage - dealers are deliberately keep low inventory now despite no more COVID related supply problems!

Dealer discounts almost nonexistent in tristate (NY/NJ/CT)

Bottom line:

Compared to 3 to 4 years ago

For my mileage allowance

I think I am paying more by anywhere between 150 to 200 per month

for almost the same car

Also note that 2023 is the last year for this design and a new design is due this summer - cars like that easily get a 10% to 12% discount off MSRP (at least that is how it was in the past)
