    I'm monitoring the lease deals at this point because I'm hoping the 2024 GT-Line AWD trim changes the color options because I want a non-matte gray or silver exterior color which isn't available now (only steel matte gray which requires special care) and I'm also hoping they update the features like adding adaptive beam headlights which became legal in the US last year and are available in the European EV6 models and it's called "matrix headlights".

    ~~It sounds like they took half of the $7500 lease cash and put it half of it into the dealer incentive and then just added $250 to it. The Kia lease cash of $7500 comes from Kia Finance so they told you it was only $3750 so they could make you think that their dealer incentive was higher. $4000+$3750=$7750 which is only $250 more than the $7500 lease cash.

    The $46,900 OTD appears to include the $7750 off plus a discount off of MSRP but lease calculations don't use an OTD price. They use MSRP, discounted selling price (i.e. cap cost before incentives, down payment, etc), cap cost reduction (which includes the lease cash and down payment), money factor, residual percentage and term.~~

    It sounds like they took half of the $7500 lease cash and put it half of it into the dealer incentive and then just added $250 to it. The Kia lease cash of $7500 comes from Kia Finance so they told you it was only $3750 so they could make you think that their dealer incentive was higher. $4000+$3750=$7750 which is only $250 more than the $7500 lease cash.

    The $46,900 OTD appears to include the $7750 off plus a discount off of MSRP but lease calculations don't use an OTD price.     Ok I stand corrected. I didn't realize Kia Finance was offering $3750 on purchases as well. Dealers prefer you to use the banks they have deals with because they make additional money when you use them instead of the manufacturer's financing company.

    I was told today by a local dealer in Oregon the Kia Niro EV Wind money factor is .00229 on a 36 month 10k miles

    They were being tricky because the residual was 75.91% which is not the usual that another dealer is giving me of 68%. That is more concerning on the backend if you decide to sell car or trade it back in as you won't be in the positive as much so won't have money for next down payment.

    Are the MF and Residual numbers dependent upon the buyer location or the location of the dealer? I was given two different sets of numbers even though my location obviously stayed the same. Only difference was that the two dealerships were in different zip codes and counties in Texas.

    Dealer location, but Texas will have the same numbers.

    Dealer may bump the MF for extra profit, but the residual is fixed by the bank, but will vary depending on trim, term, drive and mileage.
