Got news from my dealer that the new (Jan) buy rate MF for the iX 50 is 0.00111.

Hi Mitchell,

It is my understanding that BMW just extended the December program to the 5th based on an email that I got from a dealer. I was also told this verbally from another dealer today.

We don't have that info

Thank you so much for all of the insight from these forums! Was a busy December - ended up leasing 4 cars last month for the family thanks to your help.

Leased a 2024 BMW iX xdrive 50 for 36/7.5 in Southern California for $797/mo. (tax inclusive) with $1,950 DAS and max MSDs.

MSRP: $91,405
Net was about 9% off MSRP and a slightly marked up MF before MSDs + $9,900 in incentives.

Hey! Thanks in advance. 2024 BMW ix X50, sport package 36/10. Zip 91355 (good, old CA). No loyalty but Bimmer is kicking in the $9900 credit and dealer is putting in $7000, but their MF is .00151. Seems kinda high. They would only write down 10 basis points which is nothing. Thoughts? Appreciate it.

Ask for a bigger discount from sticker to offset the rate hike. As long as you get the payment you were looking for, does it really matter how you get there?

Thanks, Michaell. True that. They were offering to knock down maybe another $1000 which would knock it down about $30. At least at the dealer I was at yesterday (one of the biggest in U.S.). That doesn’t do enough to offset 100 basis points on a $95k car. I’ll keep looking but I’ve never been let so easily able to walk out of a dealership in my life. Either the state of affairs on these cars or just the car market right now (still). Not sure.

From what I've been reading, the early adopters on EVs have all gotten their fill, and the regular buyer probably isn't sold on the EV experience just yet. I suspect there will be some softening in that market, going forward.

What percentage of discount should I expect to see for the iX? I received a quote like this, and I know it's a terrible deal. I saw on Leasehackr that people got 12-13% discounts a few months ago. They use the current iX promotion numbers (suggested dealer contribution of $4,000 and $9,900 Lease Credit) on the BMW USA website to make it appear like they gave a discount.
