I am surprised to see the residual values so low, given the residuals for a standard highlander pretty high ~80%.

Anyone know why they are so low?

Hi, did the RV’s just drop on the hybrid max platinum. Rec’d a quote today and from looking at the #’s coming up on Toyota’s site RV looks to be 55% for 15k and 57% for 12k. These are for 36 months. I tried various zip codes and all coming out the same.

Tried to insert an image, hopefully it came thru ? I confirmed with the dealer that they are using 63%. However I cannot using any calculator I can find get the #’s to work out to either what the dealer is showing or the Toyota site. Using the Toyota site with MSRP of $61476, 36 months, 63% and .00305 the calc I’m coming up with is $937 per month. The Toyota site is showing $1058. I didn’t include any tax or fees because the Toyota site says it’s not included in the #’s shown. I’m probably doing something wrong, but I can’t figure this out… Thanks in advance if anyone can help me.

Where you live, you pay sales tax on the entire selling price of the car, which cranks up the lease payment by a lot. I get $937/mo before taxes using the numbers from this image. But, the adjusted cap cost will likely include the fees and taxes you aren't paying up front.

(6% of $61K is almost $3700, or over $100/mo added to the lease payment - and that doesn't include any fees)

BTW, that Toyota screen shot doesn't show the MF or residual - it's implied. Ask the dealer for a screen shot of their lease worksheet, and we can figure out the delta.
