A GR86 or BRZ is probably #1 on my list if/when I am overcome with the desire to add a manual fun car to the garage.

I found 3 examples of the same truck I bought about 2 months ago.
Only discounts for each of them is $500 off MSRP and 5.9% for 60 months.

Yeah, the "employee pricing" is just a marketing gimmick.

@xwesx - I’d bet the Escalade seller had a $20k reserve. Not out of the realm of possibility given the craziness on BaT.

There are deals to be had on Rams… some dealers just dig in deeper than others.

I can find a pretty similar build to the burgundy one at several dealers in white, but really wanted a color. Definitely not getting black again unless the deal was amazing.

Dealers know how to sell cars and always have but most buyers still have a lot learn.

a red one near me. Oddly the 2 dealers I checked have low stock on the website (maybe 15ish total for 1500s of all trims)

It has to have the Level 2 group which has the digital cluster, biggest screen and the best stereo (Harmon Kardon)

It can’t be a “Night Edition” because you all know my hatred for black wheels.

Lastly I prefer the lighter interior.

@tjc78 - white isn't a bad exterior color, TBH... Although something like 1/4 of the cars I've had were white.

feel you on the interior. The digital stuff sounds nice also. I'll keep my eyes open. Plus will give me an admittedly sketchy reason to visit a dealer.

my wife wants something other than white when we finally replace her car. She also mentioned that we should probably get a hybrid when it is time (this was after I told her that my truck got 53 MPG on the 20 minute drive home from the dentist this morning!) Ideally I would want a plug-in.

Here’s a crazy thought, how about a former rental truck. Enterprise takes at least basic care of them and they don’t allow customers to tow. Pickups from the car rental operation usually are given to soccer moms when big SUVs aren’t available so they probably aren’t even used to haul stuff.

Here’s one I picked at random but the site says over 300 available. The price seems a lot but what isn’t these days.

    They are at $729 now.

MSRP of $72315, selling price of $66711 (7.75%) typcial fees. Dirt cheap MF (.00043)

I know I should probably take this … but I am stubborn and no way I can pull this off this weekend so I’m gonna sit on it.

I get 18 in the summer with my F-150 but only 16 in the winter in mainly city driving with just a V6. The 3:73 rear end that comes with the towing package doesn’t help. Most pickups I transport get about 20 on the highway. The best I ever got was with a 2.7L turbo Ford that got 30 mpg between Albany and Burlington.

Looks clean, although there is not a close up photo of the "butt" area of the driver's seat. It's due for a timing belt. I like the color scheme. The Carfax is interesting. Second owner fit the pattern of an elderly person (3-5k miles per year), or perhaps someone who commuted to a train/bus station, and then it looks like someone else was allowed to use it as their personal vehicle or their commute changed the last year or so before it was sold to the person from whom it was repossessed.

Nissan sent me an email of "property tax due" on the Ariya for $285.40, which is odd, because according to their website, we're a non-prorate state. It should probably be 2x that, or more, if it's based on property tax on the value of the car for the entire year. Oh, well, nothing about how cheap that transaction was has made any sense, so I'm going to send them the payment and continue to pretend to have confidence in their calculations.
