what was the MSRP for your LE V6? any packages were included like these below?
LE Convenience Package: includes fixed center console and roof rails
or
LE Preferred Package: includes dual power sliding side doors, 8-way power driver's seat with power lumbar support, electrochromic rearview mirror with HomeLink® [3] universal transceiver, Multi-Information Display with backup camera [4], rear window sunshades, AM/FM/MP3 CD player, six speakers, XM® Radio [5] (includes 90-day trial subscription), auxiliary audio jack, USB [6] port with iPod® [7] connectivity, hands-free phone capability and music streaming via Bluetooth® [8] wireless technology, Vacuum Fluorescent Display, and steering wheel audio and voice-command controls
Picked up a 2011 Limited this weekend. Silver with rear entertainment and floormats/door sills. I started with the AMEX deal and worked from there. Here are the particulars:
MSRP: $42,329 OTD (including fees less $1000 rebate): $37,897 I bought out of state so still need to pay tax and registration but that is gonna be about $1000.
I also traded a 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L w/RES got $24,500 but it had a dent in the right front fender and a pretty good scratch down the full left side that was gonna cost me $500 to fix.
So all in all I am at $14,400. I even got a Toyota Racing ball cap and mug out of the deal for the long wait. I like the car but am a little disappointed withe cheap floor mats they put in these things the colors don't even match the carpet (grey interior). Oh yeah there was a 2 inch scratch in the clear on the hatch so I got them to through in a paint pen and knock another $500 off so that puts it at $13,900!
All LE V6 Sienna already includes those 2 packages you mentioned. LE V6 msrp is usually around $30,600.
The convenient package and prefered package are for the base model V6 and 4 cylinder model. I heard toyota stopped making these packages because no one was buying them.
Usually around Sept/Oct and I'm not thinking that the earthquake is going to hinder 2012s. What I don't know how much the incentives will compare with what we saw for the 4th of July weekend and if 2011 inventory will be lower than usual.
Just picked up an 2011 XLE with Nav for $33900 - $1000 rebate + TTL = $36200. Sweet ride, kids love it. Thanks for all the posters on this forum. I've learned a lot during my months of research and feel pretty good about the price. Just wanted to share so others can beat it.
i am contacting couple of dealers in atlanta, and found a dealer who will sell 2011 XLE $32000 OTD without any option (no nevi, no entertain, no premium pck, etc).
I was just quoted - and I took - a deal on an XLE in NC for $32,030 OTD which included $817 in various options (mats, tint, rails, rocker panels and flaps). So yes - you can do better IMO. My guess is that either your XLE has some options you didn't mention - or if it's a no option car (which are rare from what I've seen) they've added their administration fee to your total. Get them to wipe that fee out and your heading in the right direction. That's how I got my deal. :shades:
Go with your first option. I bought a TOMTOM app for my Iphone for $50, works great! Two 10" Portable DVD player for the kids, mounted on the headrests: $300. and Let the Good times roll.
Save your cash, I've never had someone comes up to me and ask if my vehicle has nav or dvd player, nor they say: WOW, you got it all! The WOW factor just doesn't justify for the kind of cash we pay for these extra premium equipment.
Lowest offer I got for 2011 Sienna XLE with Premium package (Nav+DVD) was 34,500 (somewhere in August last year). Since I didn't need the DVD I got the XLE with Navigation package and that cost me 32,500 in Last October (All prices are before the Tax and Registration fee). These days I am seeing toyota bumped up the invoice price for the same 2011 model (don't know why; it's still the same model).
Just received a quote on XLE (no NAVI/RES) but CARPET FLOOR MATS W/DOOR SILL PROTECTORS and ROOF RACK CROSS BARS as option.
MSRP: $34294.00
Quote: $31790 with Special APR (if paid in full with cash, $30790) before TTL. VA Tax (3%): $960 TTL: $100 Doc Processing: $199 ---Total OTD: $33050---
I am not sure if this is great price or should i need to negotiate more?
That's a very good price. I had the similar price, but got to drive 180 miles or so to get the vehicle. I opted for another offer locally for 30.7k for xle (no nav/dvd) with carpet mats.
Thank you for the feedback.. even this one is also about 120 miles away. No other nearby dealers are willing to match this price. So, I think i will have to drive to some dough
WE are much happier with the Sienna. With the Limited obviously you get a little more bells and whistles but overall we like it better. The carpets are on the cheap side but I will probably go to something aftermarket anyway.
Update we did have a few minor scratches on the 1st car we took delivery of and the dealer made it right by simply getting us a replacement. The 2nd car had the the clear bra, conv. pkg, roof rails, lower moulding and mudflaps. But they did not charge me for any of it. The MSRP went to 43456 but the OTD the remained 37897; that is 5559 of off MSRP. I was very pleased:)
I am looking to buy a LX in Buffalo Grove area(Chicago) too. If you bought, please share your dealer information otherwise, we might be able to group to buy together to get a better deal? Thanks
Sorry for the late reply. I got this price at Oak Brook Toyota. People there are very professional. I was highly surprised that the finance manager did not mention any extras (such as extended warranty) to buy. I am sure you can do $4000 off msrp b/f the incentives (from Schaumburg or Naperville) as mentioned by another person on this board. I was just too tired to bargain another $400 off.
I don't quite remember his name. Sales persons are powerless, and as equally willing to make a deal as you at a reasonable price (they live on commissions). You have to negotiate with their sales manager a few rounds to get the good price. Good luck!
That is not a correct strategy. To start the game, you have to ask for $4000 off + $1000 rebate based on the information on this board (search some June posts). You can then unwillingly give up a few hundred $$ to approach the # you are willing to pay. As an alternative to Sienna, VW Routan is sold at $10 K off msrp in some areas such as Houston and St. Louis. Give VW a consideration too.
I am not good at the game at all. I tryed to ask they match but they said yours was not MSRP $30774 and offer me $29900. You can tell how bad I am in this game. It is not easy. Thanks a lot for your advice. I may have to give up for Sienna
XLE - Silver/Beige (exactly what the wife wanted). No DVD or NAV
$31563.11 Broken down as such:
Base $30,338.00 Options $817.00 Manuf, Delv, Proc & Hndlg $855.00 Transfer fee $53.11 Subtotal $32,063.11 NC Incentive $: -$500
Total: $31,563.11
Options included: roof rails, body side moldings, tint, mats & flaps and the transfer fee was agreed to since they had to get the car from another dealer a state away (was worth it to me).
FYI - it's been mentioned on this board before - but Toyota quietly increased it's dealer costs $500 across all the vans. If you find a dealer with some older inventory - knock $500 off my deal. As a point of negotiating - I got pissed that the manufacturer incentive in NC is $500. So basically - Toyota tried the old mark up to mark down trick. I told the dealer that that was a walking point - and he tossed $500 extra in my trade.
I also got 1.9% financing for 60 months.
The deals are different around the country - but in the Southeast - it's usually o%/36, .9%/48 or 1.9%/60 + $500 cash.
Anyone recently bought a Sienna XLE or SE in Phoenix? What price do you pay and your experience with the dealership? Thanks... I am considering to buy one very soon.
Hi all. I am looking for a 2011 Sienna Limited AWD with NAV and RES in the Northeast. Sticker appears about $45K. Anyone have leads or what a realistic price should be after negotiation? Thanks all!
If you are closer to boston, RI area, Toyota of Dartmouth, MA gives you the best deal. Get a quote through Zag for zip 02808. Their sales, finance department is the best I have ever seen. If they don't have in stock, they will get one for you.
Sorry for the delayed reply. I bought it from Toyota of Dartmouth MA. Best sales experience. No pressure no nothing; no dealer extra but for floor mats.
Here is the break up XLE Base 29,750 (no DVD, navigation) , with rebate. Add ons: 450 (floor mats, mud flaps, clear bra, roof rack cross bar) doc fee: 299 registration: 300 Tax : 2000 (approx)
They had to find this car from a near by dealer which had all these addons already. Otherwise, I would have paid just 150 for the floor mats.
Got the 1.99% from DCU.
Overall, it was a great buying experience. Requested quote through Zag, following day got a call from their internet sales department, they looked for a car to my preference, adjusted the price for add ons(reasonable), bought the car the next day. all through emails and phone. very impressed with their service. Highly recommend. BTW, they are very responsive and will followup with you for every move they make.
I recieved a quote for $300 under invoice but has $810 destination charge, $739 advertising fee, $399 prep fee for Sienna XLE with Entertainment package, Roof rack crossbars, Lower door molding, Carpet floor mats and mudguard. Can the advertising fee and prep fee be negoitated away? So the quote is $300 below invoice, but has $399 added back in and the invoice includes the destination fee and advertising fee. Thoughts? Sticker is 37097 and quote is for 34700 (includes all the aforementioned fees) before tax, title and reg.

Sheesh. That's the worst I've ever heard of. Crazy.
I would merge that with the $300 under invoice and consider that a $439 above invoice price quote.
