Just pulled it out of my garage after applying coats 4-6 of Zaino polish. Entire vehicle claying and coats 1-3 were applied about a month prior....only days after taking delivery. I love the shine, durability and ease of applic of this stuff. Would never go back to Mothers or Meguiars.
Still considering a hood deflector for the front to reduce stone chips on the hood, but just not sure about how it will look. I'm on the fence, but leaning towards buying.
It makes the car super smooth and shiny. I didn't clay my OB XT when I first waxed it, and it has some roughness you can feel under the wax (keep in mind it was factory fresh, with plastic still on, when I bought it in July). Weeks later I clayed a section to remove some bugs and that section is noticeably smoother.
I'm too lazy to clay a new car, but it does have some benefit.
Mike, as Craig and Brian suggest, even new cars have grime build up. I washed my car twice before claying, and my yellow clay bar was still pulling off dirt (evident from the black specks and streaks in the clay....and it was a brand new bar). It removes contaminents that are not necessarily visible and may not come off with normal washing. However, leave them there, and you will most certainly feel them, and they will accumulate dirt.
I clay every spring.
Its hard to explain the silky smooth finish on my XT. Its unbeleivable. Nice thing, even in rain, most of the dirty road spray will rinse off with a hose.

I didn't clay my F-XT either when I got it home. However, I did AIO it right away (it's build date was 2 months prior).

She's good 'till spring now.
Cheers,

Karen: Daniel's spring/summer team went 18-3, finished 3rd in the playoffs. A great season that included some coaching from a former pro.
Patrick was playing coach pitch, and nobody kept real close track of the score
Cheers!

my sister Meris decked out as a Japanese schoolgirl for Halloween.

You don't see the car complaining now do you?
Is that a smirk I see on the grill?
-Frank
But have you seen Colin dressed as a Japanese schoolgirl? :-D

That photo looks like it should be on the cover of a Japanese car magazine!
Kudos to your sister for even getting the "peace sign" right.
But how many folks out in Kansas actually would understand her costume?

Seriously, they download anime videos that are in japanese with english subtitles, and then watch entire seasons of shows.
I didn't get into any of my hobbies that deep. Well, maybe cars. :-)

Sounds like it goes deeper than my 9 year old watching Yu-gi-oh!, or my love of Speed Racer re-runs. Rob M.
I stretched the wheelbase about 6" and put it all in the back seat...

B9X is big enough that they would not overlap.

Looks good, but perhaps a tad too much of a stretch.

I wanted it to be noticeably longer.

~now just put a jacuzzi in the back and pimp up and down the hotel strip in Las Vegas... ;-)
Maybe you'd prefer a long bed version of the Crew Cab?
:-)

Hmmm... maybe you can CAFE that baby like the current Outback, i.e. ground clearance & design. I think it'll be a MAJOR improvement.
That would have to be a totally different one.
Lemme see...

Well, I suppose if you really need a pickup it is an alternative, but why not just get a pickup?
Just some mild flames, Juice. ;-)
