I am in the market for an '08 Civic Sedan EX-L with A/T. I emailed the dealer where we bought our Odyssey and the best he could do was $20,495+tax & tags.
I emailed my local dealer and he came back with $20,040 but I had to take the only one in stock, a Galaxy Gray - I want Black (he refused to do a search at this price). He checked his inbounds and his next black model is due to be assembled the 2nd week of June and delivered around July 1 and said he'd honor the price if I leave a deposit.
Two questions:
Is the price fair? It looks to be $100 over invoice based on what I can tell. Do you think my chain is being yanked to get me to come in and leave a deposit on a car that won't be here for over a month?
Sounds like a good price, but make sure the quote includes the destination charge.
Dealers love leaving this out of quotes, luring you into the dealer, and once there, note the find print that it will actually be an extra $500-something including destination.
I fell for it, so that's why I say keep an eye out.
Have you tried Ourisman Honda in Bethesda ?If nothing else you may save on processing fees by crossing the Potomac river Last I checked they charge $100-I think they call it something else though Hope this helps
Received phone calls from salesmanagers in Houston and New Orleans. Both told me the same thing: "Two weeks ago I would have honored that price, but now the price is $1,000 higher." In fact this morning the salesman at Goodson in Houston area quoted $18,585 for Black EX Auto 4-Door coming off the truck today. Three hours later, the salesmanager called  and changed it to $19,500. Superior Honda salesmanager phoned last night with $19,600 saying his price was $18,600 two weeks ago. He claims he's getting 40 more in, but not for 6 more weeks and he may, or may not come back down when he gets more inventory.
Yea, they have been selling the civics really well. Are your prices drive outs? I had a $19,100 quote on an auto EX sedan with a drive out of $20,800 at Honda of Katy.
In response to the Honda people here in Houston, it seems it is harder to negotiate in houston compared to LA, etc. I am looking for a 2008 Civic LX sedan, best price I got was 17100 plus TTL approx 18480 drive out. I am not too much to haggle about a few hundred bucks, it seems reasonable to me, very close to invoice so I am going to jump on it more than likely...this price was from russel and smith. It was handled through the internet but before I even did the whole internet thing I actually went to John Eagle Honda (290) they quoted me 17384 plus ttl. Since the saleman spent alot with me, and is pretty nice I may just by at the 17384 but I told them to throw in Tint which I know I can get done cheaper it just saves me the hasttle of having to drop the car off all day and getting it done. Hope this gives you guys a reference point to negotiate better than me b/c I am not much of a haggler over few bucks if I get good customer service
A dealer told me that not long ago they offered some discount on Fits (even though there is little mark up on them) but now they are getting $1k over MSRP due to high demand - and folks are gladly paying it.
They have lots of Pilots (08 and 09), Odys, and Ridgelines sitting on the lot if anyone needs a thirsty car.
Out the door: $20,588.25. Selling Price including Dest: $18,740. Sales Tax is based on residence; mine is 8.75%. Waste Tire Fee: $8.00. Car is a new arrival. Still had plastic on shifter, arm rests, center console, etc. Odometer: 3 miles. Premier Honda in New Orleans East. Dealt with Internet Sales person. He's as good as they get. No surprises from the management either. Everything was low key. Didn't even offer to sell me any add-ons. Very happy with the deal. Not supposed to mention Jeff's name so I won't. Picking it up tonite with mudflaps added (not free). When I pick up the plate in a few weeks, they will fill the tank a second time. I'll be sure to be running on empty when I arrive. Actually this is for my wife; going to park the Expedition.
Out the door: $20,588.25. Actually this is for my wife; going to park the Expedition.
This has been posted several places on the web lately:
Owners might owe $20,000 or more when the vehicle is now worth $12,000. It's similar to an upside-down mortgage, and it may not make sense to try a trade-in. "What they might be doing is spending thousands of dollars to save hundreds," says Jack Nerad, the executive director of Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com. "Because if you make a trade, you're most often going to spend more to make that move than you would just sucking it up and paying the extra gasoline prices."
In your case you are parking what is otherwise a perfectly running vehicle just to save on gas?
At the current average price of a gallon of gas and if you drove the average of 15k miles per year the difference in gas cost between a Civic AT sedan and an Expedition is $2,098 per year (so says the EPA). So spending $20.6k for a car to "save money on gas" will pay off in 9.8 years of gas buying. And that does not include the cost of keeping tags and insurance on the Expedition.
Now, it is true that the Civic will hold its value well so you will get a nice portion of your $20.6k down the road. But if you consider how much you will get back compared to the cost and divided by the different in yearly fuel cost, you may find that you didn't save that much money. Of course it all depends on how high gas prices go and how long they stay there. Trade value "book" on an 06 EX sedan AT with 30k on the clock is around $14,500 . So you have $6,100 in depreciation (not counting trade in tax credit, if you really traded it in) plus insurance and tags for 2 years and you saved $4,196 in gas.
Bought the car last week for $18,590 + TTL + $50 documentary fee. It's the Costco price. Out-the-door price is $19,960. Initially I sent out internet requests to dealers in Austin, San Antonio and Houston. And the lowest quote was $18690+TTL+ the $50 documentary fee. So, I decided to go with the Costco price which, coincidently, is the invoice price of the car. I had hoped to purchase the car for maybe $300 below invoice since the 2009 new model with VSA will come out soon. But with the $4 gas price, I guess Civics are in high demand these days.
Thought to help out the forum on something I tried today which helped me immensely on my buying experience in the Bay area today:
Bought the Automatic, 4-door LX model for $16,150 base price including dest. charges + $55 document fee + $167 registration fee + 8.25% CA tax = $17,710 OTD with full tank of gas, 10 miles and two free car details. I wanted to get the base price of $15,850 (my personal target on negotiation) and while I did pay $300 more, the full tank of gas and car detail made up for around $200. The lowest I have heard on this forum on LX, 4-door was around $16700 base price. So I think I did good...but I spent some time researching, calling dealerships and used one of these ideas. While I usually don't like to fool anyone, with the way car buying at dealerships work, I had no problem using some of the dealers own tactics on them...especially, when they make you wait for couple of thousand hours, many of them treat you like you are getting the car for FREE!! and much more...so I felt it was fair that I think about saving money and do whatever I can while the car salesman on the other side try thier best to suck most of it out of our pockets. Here's what I did;
I invited quotes from dealerships around the area and started an e-mail chain with one of them...we went back and forth and she mentioned in one of her e-mail replies that she was willing to price match and beat any other dealers offer. The problem was I didn't have any such lower offer in writing..so I made one number up, $15850 and told her, this dealership 30 miles away was offering me. On paper she said, she would match $15,850. I was happy and so showed up at her door, only to learn that they started thier antics and didn't have the color I wanted. So that dealership talk broke right there. But I had their e-mail. Using very simple techniques, I modified some of the e-mail contents (if you are using Hotmail, hit the reply button on a received quote and then you can change the content of the entire e-mail..to make it look authentic, hit the reply button but change the dealership e-mail address by inserting a character somewhere in between such that you can't spot the difference between right and wrong dealership e-mail address, adding one character would be enough..this way your reply doesn't go to the dealer and even if it does you are going to use this e-mail communication at another dealership and not the one you communicated with). I took the printout of that e-mail communication and used it as my ploy to negotiate the price I thought I wanted to pay. They looked at the printout and I had them believe that this dealership was willing to underpay...unlike Black Friday price matching process, the dealerships want call each other to verify all this, they hate each other...use this hatred amongst themselves for your benefit and I did exactly that. You should use the salesman in you to get the best deal you can...never think that if you don't get this deal, it's the last car in the world. They did buy into my negotiation which I kept insisting through my e-mail communication and had them believe that I was going there next and get that deal if they don't honor me at theirs. It may work for you, it may not...but keep trying hard. Don't budge from your price..stay firm and hopefully you will end up paying close to what you want to pay.
Yes, dwynne, I agree with your numbers. I did not mention that we have a 3rd driver in the family, a musician who needs the space of the Expy for gigs. The main reason for the post was to provide others with the price paid as that is the topic of this forum.
The point of my post was not to be critical of you or your situation, but to comment on the general "rush to buy efficient cars" that seems to be sweeping the nation.
I recently leased a new Pilot for my wife - she wanted the size and comfort and loved the Pilot. We knew gas would cost more than her Accord but were willing to live with it. Over in the Pilot forum folks are still leasing and buying Pilots (some smoking hot deals with $3,500 dealer money) even with $4 a gallon gas.
Everyone should do what they need and want to do and what they think is best for their situation. I would just caution those wanting to dump a guzzler now to run the numbers first and you may find you can keep on driving it for less money than replacing it. In your case, parking it only costs you the insurance and tags. Folks trying to trade them are getting beat up bad on the value.
I just came home driving my new Civic LX auto sedan.
OTD was $17300 - I got this quote thru email, but still they wanted to charge me $695 extra for appearance package, which they dropped after some short but loud negotiation.
I was going to put some money on credit card (have 2% rebate) and the rest pay by cash but the current financing so good - end up with 1.9% for 36 month.
This particular rate isn't advertised but finance girl mentioned it and got hooked, because you can pay your monthly with a credit card (only Honda Bank allows to pay with loan money on a loan sort of speak).
Now for those wanted the break down, which I never asked for cause don't care how they will come up with the price I am comfortable with:
Good deal they sent me promos as to the prices this weekend only which was $15727 for a lx 4 door auto when you add the $635 freight you get $16362 so you seem to of been able to take advantage of the month end special. Curious what the rate would be for 60 months as I can get 4.25% through my credit union.
I am still on the fence about buying as I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has 112K miles that I just can't part ways with unless I can get like $4000 which is very tough as I have been trying to sell via Craigslist but just cant afford to get like $2000 on trade in as the car is in great shape but gas is killing me as well as I just sank $2500 in repairs this past month. I again am torn as this could be all the repairs for a while if so then I want to keep it but if I have to shell out a few thousand more it will hurt.
I know it is cheaper to fix than buy new so we shall see. Not sure what to do still.
I should have stayed away from this Forum. On Thursday I freaked out at the price of gas, $4.11 -$4.15 for Regular, 30 cents higher for Premium, which my '06 Sienna CE ran best on. I couldn't see it coming down for a while, and not far when it does. Spent 90 minutes on the net, then took a ride. Checked out an '09 Vibe base model Auto with the 2.4L Camry motor, and a Civic LX sedan Auto. Stopped by the Toyota/Scion dealer and kicked the tires on the xD, which I rented two weeks ago for 125 miles in a day. Just for Me, the Vibe was the one I could see myself in. I test drove the Civic, went back and test drove the Vibe. I thought it was way better looking than the Civic LX sedan. Just for me. xD was tempting, but the Civic LX is much more car, and gets better Hiway mileage. The Vibe I can't pinpoint it, but something didn't feel right. Went back for second drive in the Civic. I bought the Civic. Got killed on my trade, but thought I did ok on the price. Until I read here.... 2.9%, 56 Months (I don't know how that happened instead of 60?? just took a second look at the paperwork tonight), $17,400 plus tax and tabs and plastic mud flaps and $50 doc fee. Pacific Northwest area. The Sienna was much more vehicle, and if I had a family or some other need for it I would still have it. It was a base model and a fine vehicle and got Great gas mileage for what it was. I drive lots, the last two weeks on my days off I stayed home. So I'm in the Honda club. Looking forward to seeing if I can get 40 mpg on the hiway
I think you may have actually done fine on the price - it depends on your area. It seems people posting here from the DC and Bay areas are getting great prices - like below invoice on an LX with destination included.
I've been looking around in the Boston area and right now no one will quote anything below 17k (including destination, exluding doc fees, tax and title).
Hi Bearcrkrd! If you're willing to travel, you may want to check out Metro Honda in Johnston, RI. I purchased a LX auto for 16400 before taxes, ect. They do not charge crazy fee's either. I don't know what they have left - I did all negotiations on line, only went to dealership to sign & drive. no Hassel! If you decide to go let me know & I can e-mail you the person's name.
I just spoke with Metro - they're quoting 17,129 on an LX auto right now...prices have definitely gone up in the last couple weeks. I think I'll probably hold off - my current car is fine so I can wait even as long as winter, when the dealers won't be as busy.
Even with my gas sucking 4x4 crewcab pickup a civic would only save me 400 or so gallons a year. At $5 a gallon thats $2,000 a year. If the price of a civics go up well I'll have to wait till the new model year and check out the competition.
Don't want to get caught up in the buy high frenzy.
Just picked up our new Galaxy Gray EX 4dr, /w appearance package, which is just mud flaps, wheel opening moldings, door edge tape and pin stripes. It was built the week before and had 2 miles on it. Full tank of gas, the dealer is doing the first oil change for free and also is providing "Lifetime Tires", as long as we take it to them every 5k for tire inspection and rotation if it needs it. They will replace the tires free, as needed.
Out the door, paid cash, $20,159.69. Very happy with the deal.
Last night I purchased this in Galaxy Gray for $21,545 from internet sales manager Patti B**** at Larry Miller Honda of Hillsboro (Oregon). I did not deal with anyone else at the dealership. She was friendly and professional. I drove the EXL and Si. Although the Si was "peppy", I did not find it was as "lightning quick" as some folks have posted. Patti told me that I was getting this deal because it was the last day of the quarter.
I had shopped around online in the Portland Metro area and found that Civic prices continue to be on the rise.
Vehicle Price. $21,545 Title,Registration and doc fee. $218
2008 Civic Sedan EX-L/Auto/with Nav. O.T.D = $21,763
I just finished my purchase of a new Honda Civic LX Sedan AT from Tempe Honda. It was my best car buying experience ever--and this in my 8th new car. I negotiated my price with Aaron of the Internet and Fleet Department at Tempe Honda. In contrast to the other dealers in the greater Phoenix area, Aaron was very responsive to inquiries I made and did it without any high pressure tactics. Tempe Honda gave me the best price on the Civic and beat all the other Phoenix area dealerships and the Las Vegas dealerships I negotiated with. Because I live in Las Vegas, I flew down to Phoenix to pick up the car. Aaron volunteered to pick me up at the airport and was right on time when my plane got in. When we arrived at the dealership, the paperwork and my car were ready and, more importantly, everything was just as I had been promised. I provided them with the check for the price of the car and was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour--and was treated professionally at every step of the way. I drove the car back to Las Vegas and everything looks good, including an actual miles per gallon on the trip of 36 miles--pretty close to the mileage that Honda promotes for highway driving. I would highly recommend Tempe Honda if you want a no hassle car dealing experience. The price was under invoice and the added service, including airport pick up, a full tank of gas and the no hassle experience was well worth the price particulary when compared with the true market price for the Phoenix area that is quoted on the Edmunds site.
Interesting...last year I spent months from May to Aug 31st trying to purchase a new Honda Civic LX 4dr Sedan AT in Phoenix. I went through the internet and also went to the dealerships directly and was treated terribly. The Tempe internet sales person was not rude to me as the other dealerships were, but they were not willing to negotiate any type of reasonable price. I could not get an out the door price from any of the dealerships through the internet and when I went to the dealers directly they were quoting me thousands above msrp. I ended up going to Hardin Honda in Anaheim Ca. I could not have had a better experience. I also flew in, they picked me up at the airport, I paid cash (cashiers check) and was out the door. The tank was full and after a day at Disneyland drove back to Phoenix and did not have to fill up once on my way back. I will never again attempt to buy another Honda from ANY dealer in Phoenix. I have never been treated so badly when trying to purchase a car. I had researched the car, the price and had the range I was willing to pay. One dealership actually called me crazy and that I would never get the car I wanted for that price. They were wrong! After ten minutes on the internet, two emails to Hardin Honda and one phone call later, I had exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. The 07 and 08 are basically the same. What was your out the door price for your LX?? Please break it down... Your Price $ + tax + Documentation Fee + anything extra you paid for = Your total Out the Door price. I am curious to compare what I paid in Ca.
I know yikes! but the lease I saw wanted $2,000 and $200 per month so the first year I would down $2,400 if i did that instead of just driving my truck.
I will however end up buying a fuel efficient car as the days of trucks like mine or soon to be over. I want that Civic diesel hatch!!
Anybody have prices for an LX coupe in say Chicago or Atlanta?
I am currently in a market for Civic Si Sedan w/o Navi and got a price quote from a dealer close to invoice. So I called up Ali Hashemi the internet sales manager from Autowest Fremont and he said he can match up the price with quote I've got from other dealership.
I drove up to them and test drove it and right before I want to purchase the car my friend found a scratch on the car. So I told the salesman that I will wait for there next shipment (since Ali Hashemi wasn't there). But, he told me I should contact Ali Hashemi instead since he is the manager.
Today, I contacted him and try to follow up the order. But, I got yelled at because according to Ali Hashemi the scratch can't be seen......and I asked him when is their next shipment gonna be? He replied "This is the only car we have, you can either buy it or walk away from it, there is no next shipment..." That's the worst sales experience I have had so far.
Don't buy from them, they just don't know how to respect their costumers.
I don't think they should have yelled at you, but the price given for a car sitting on the lot that you have test driven would be something that should be expected to honor. To wait weeks or months for another car to come in and then expect it at the same price is something they probably would not want to do.
A lot of cars get damaged at the factory and in transit and get touched up and you would never know it. Heck, take the 'vette plant tour in Bowling Green and they have a whole touch up department fixing paint flaws in various parts that were detected before the part was put on the car.
If the scratch is small it may can be easily and quickly repaired so you will never know it is there. I would have pointed it out to them and told them I would take the car once they had that fixed to my satisfaction - if they have no other cars on the lot to sell you - or just go inspect the one at the other dealership and buy that one if it is "perfect".
I can't see them giving you a good price on one to come in and sticking to it, what it that one also has a scratch?
Either get them to fix the scratch or just go get the car from the other dealer.
There is never an excuse for rude behavior, however.
I'd rethink the situation if you really want that specific car. Is it really worth your time to search all the other places to get a price close to invoice for a literally HOT car? It would be, if below invoice is in the cards!! Part of the gig would be for them to fix the situation to your satisfaction as the above poster has covered.
Yah, I understand that I may not be able to get the same price for their next shipment (and I didn't even have a chance to mention the price issue). His instant reaction was like "No, we don't have any more cars, this is the only car we have". Seriously, there is no way I can settle it, his attitude was "buy it or get away". I would definitely consider it if they can fix it or patiently explain to me like you did . Anyhow, I am sure that I won't be Autowest Fremont's customer I mean their customer service was horrible. I felt like I have to beg them to sell me the car, even though I am paying 20k (big bucks for student ). BTW, for those who are interested I got a quote of $20,299 for Civic Si Sedan w/o navi and including destination charge. OTD should be $20,299 + 10% tax & doc fee in Alameda county.
Hi, I just got a quote of $16,298 for a 08 Civic Coupe LX with auto. Silver/gray colors from Ohare in Chicago. When I asked the local dealership match the price they said they couldn't because most likely this was a damaged car in transit ie frame damage etc. The local dealership said this car couldn't be sold at regular dealerships. I suspect this is not true. Sooooo I was interested in hearing any good or bad stories about Ohare since I would be flying in to buy the car. BTW the local dealership wants $18,100 for the same car.
Just bought an 08 Civic LX with extras....$16,300.
I priced around....best we could get, dealers all have different "fees"....and these guys are 15 minutes further away than a local dealer, but we got the color etc we wanted and still saved $500...regardless, they are also near our Harley dealership, so we'll plan services together...
I'm just starting the process of looking for a Civic LX Sedan (Auto) in the Columbus, OH area. Anyone have any good experiences at a dealership in the area, or have received price quotes?
Swope in Louisville used to give some pretty nice online / Internet quotes. They have a high doc fee, but the net of the car / dest / fee is what matters. Might be worth the drive down, depending on what you find locally.
Just heard that effective yesterday Civics are sold at MSRP due to high demand (that came from a dealership in DFW area). Could anyone confirm or refute?
Each dealer sets their own price and the dealer you spoke to clearly must be selling them as fast as they get them in so has chosen to not discount them at all (and probably sticks a doc fee on top of MSRP).
I would suggest talking to other dealers and see if any are willing to deal or not.
The place I got my last two Hondas from was discounting Fits (a bit) and was selling Civics at or just under invoice BEFORE the gas prices went through the roof. They don't discount like that any more - it would just be dumb for them to do so, Some folks are in a panic to dump their guzzlers and will pay whatever is asked for an efficient car, it seems.
The high demand may explain why yesterday CNN reported that Honda is planning to increase the production of Civics. When I bought my 08 Civic two weeks ago, the salesman told me that Honda is transitioning production from 08 to 09. I'm not sure what effect it would have on the supply of 08 models.
I wouldn't believe it. I just got several quotes yesterday around $16,000-$16400 on Civic LX auto coupe. these quotes are stated as good for the month of June. True some dealers are asking slightly more the $2,000 for the same car much like the dealer you talked to. It does look like the price has gone up several hundred bucks.
If they want that much money for a civic I wouldn't buy one. Lots of nice cars out there.
Only take about a day and about $200 to fly some where pick up the car and drive it home. Since I don't take home $2,000 a day it makes sense to do that for me.
"Just heard that effective yesterday Civics are sold at MSRP due to high demand (that came from a dealership in DFW area). Could anyone confirm or refute? "
Off topic and 4 year old information, BUT a 04 Civic with 66,000 miles was advertised (June 2008) on a local Craigslist for $500 less than paid new with 150 miles.
I got the same response a couple times in the last week here in the Midwest. No way I'm paying MSRP- especially given than I had quotes just above invoice in April/May. The effective $1500 increase will buy a lot of gas for my gas guzzling jeep. Can't blame the dealers though- it's all about supply and demand and they are selling civics light hotcakes around here these days.
Some folks are dumb and are in "panic mode". Folks are paying $6k to $8k for Geo Metro 3 bangers and $5k-6k for old CRX hf models. Sure they get great mileage, but they have no safety features and could not pull a hill without you getting out and pushing them .
They don't stop to think, just panic dumping their inefficient cars and getting something claiming high mileage - anything will do, for some.
The bad news is that folks that wanted to buy an efficient car anyway will now likely just face higher prices and lower selections.
Honda just had their best month ever for car sales and moved 53,299 Civics for the month - also an all time record for any Honda model in one month.
So, I am thinking they will not be too inclined to offer great deals either at the corporate or dealer level.

Thanks,
Eric
Dealers love leaving this out of quotes, luring you into the dealer, and once there, note the find print that it will actually be an extra $500-something including destination.
I fell for it, so that's why I say keep an eye out.
I will like to know the best out the door price in Central Florida?
Has anyone got one latelly?
Thanks
They have lots of Pilots (08 and 09), Odys, and Ridgelines sitting on the lot if anyone needs a thirsty car.

Bought the Automatic, 4-door LX model for $16,150 base price including dest. charges + $55 document fee + $167 registration fee + 8.25% CA tax = $17,710 OTD with full tank of gas, 10 miles and two free car details. I wanted to get the base price of $15,850 (my personal target on negotiation) and while I did pay $300 more, the full tank of gas and car detail made up for around $200. The lowest I have heard on this forum on LX, 4-door was around $16700 base price. So I think I did good...but I spent some time researching, calling dealerships and used one of these ideas. While I usually don't like to fool anyone, with the way car buying at dealerships work, I had no problem using some of the dealers own tactics on them...especially, when they make you wait for couple of thousand hours, many of them treat you like you are getting the car for FREE!! and much more...so I felt it was fair that I think about saving money and do whatever I can while the car salesman on the other side try thier best to suck most of it out of our pockets. Here's what I did;
I invited quotes from dealerships around the area and started an e-mail chain with one of them...we went back and forth and she mentioned in one of her e-mail replies that she was willing to price match and beat any other dealers offer.
Goodluck you all..

Price (with destination) - $16310.26
Title/Reg Fee - $12.00
Dealer Business License Tax - $28.38
Sales Tax (3% for Virginia) - $500.86
License Fee - $63.50
Processing (junk) fee - $385.00
=============================
Total - $17300.00
Bought it from Landmark Honda of Alexandria (VA)
I've been looking around in the Boston area and right now no one will quote anything below 17k (including destination, exluding doc fees, tax and title).
Good Luck! :shades:
Even with my gas sucking 4x4 crewcab pickup a civic would only save me 400 or so gallons a year. At $5 a gallon thats $2,000 a year. If the price of a civics go up well I'll have to wait till the new model year and check out the competition.
Don't want to get caught up in the buy high frenzy.
Out the door, paid cash, $20,159.69. Very happy with the deal.
I had shopped around online in the Portland Metro area and found that Civic prices continue to be on the rise.
Vehicle Price. $21,545
Title,Registration and doc fee. $218
2008 Civic Sedan EX-L/Auto/with Nav.
O.T.D = $21,763
Note: No sales tax in Oregon.
I will however end up buying a fuel efficient car as the days of trucks like mine or soon to be over. I want that Civic diesel hatch!!
Anybody have prices for an LX coupe in say Chicago or Atlanta?
Dennis
Yah, I understand that I may not be able to get the same price for their next shipment (and I didn't even have a chance to mention the price issue). His instant reaction was like "No, we don't have any more cars, this is the only car we have". Seriously, there is no way I can settle it, his attitude was "buy it or get away". I would definitely consider it if they can fix it or patiently explain to me like you did
Anyhow, I am sure that I won't be Autowest Fremont's customer I mean their customer service was horrible. I felt like I have to beg them to sell me the car, even though I am paying 20k (big bucks for student
I go to atlanta quite often, would you give me an OTD estimate of 2008 Honda Civic EX? I am very interested in buying one.
Dennis
I priced around....best we could get, dealers all have different "fees"....and these guys are 15 minutes further away than a local dealer, but we got the color etc we wanted and still saved $500...regardless, they are also near our Harley dealership, so we'll plan services together...
I'm just starting the process of looking for a Civic LX Sedan (Auto) in the Columbus, OH area. Anyone have any good experiences at a dealership in the area, or have received price quotes?
Thanks,
Dennis
Any one bought a new 2008 Honda Civic LX 4 Door Auto in Indianapolis area? If so can you please post the price your paid for..
Dennis
If they want that much money for a civic I wouldn't buy one. Lots of nice cars out there.
Only take about a day and about $200 to fly some where pick up the car and drive it home. Since I don't take home $2,000 a day it makes sense to do that for me.
Off topic and 4 year old information, BUT a 04 Civic with 66,000 miles was advertised (June 2008) on a local Craigslist for $500 less than paid new with 150 miles.
