    I don't believe even the dealerships have the "Arizona Beige" samples yet. I was at a dealership last Sunday and saw two vehicles with the new Arizona Beige on the lot. The color is close to the Harvest Gold and is pretty sharp. Jowever it appears a little darker, and kind of a platinum. You might walk around a couple of Dealerships to see if you can find the color on one of the new vehicles.

    I've had mine three weeks now. 5.4 4 x 2 XLT. love it except only getting 10.5 mpg around town. Freeway 12-14. I'm wondering if this is about it or if something's wrong. Does this really get any better after break in?
    I am thinking about a soft tonneau cover with a tool chest below it. And I am looking for a tubular "headboard" rack and possibly another one at the rear. A company called Rack-it makes some but they said they did not make anything for the supercrew. There are no stake holes. Has anyone out there put on racks or any of this stuff?

    I have read various posts from S-crew owners concerning gas mileage. It is report to improve gradually as the vehicle breaks in. You might check "see all responses" on this topic board and the other S-Crew topic board for specifics.

    I noticed on my window sticker, under functional, it states the following, "4.6 L TRITON V-8 W/ 100K MILES BETWEEN TUNE-UPS". Now I have the optional 5.4L Triton on my 4x4 F-150SC, does anyone know if this same claim applies to this, as well?

    akj123, I got my SC 4x4 early last month and now have 1.9K miles on it. Like you, I was getting the same miles/gal results last month. However, recently I've noticed I'm getting 15 mi/g (combined city/highway driving)! I was reading past postings and hope to get the mileage results that clshaw17 (post #353 on this board) achieved. Like Mtn Mike, I too I'm betting that it will improve w/ break-in.

    Ford advertises 100K tuneups because they use platinum plugs which will go 100K. This is on all of their new vehicles (Or most), but definetly on the F150s. Since the computer controls about everything else on the vehicle there is nothing else to tune. The f150 also has coil-on-plug ignition. I believe this eliminates the rotor, leaving one less moving part to wear out.

    Supercrew with 5.4 engine and 4x4 and 1900 miles. I got 15.8 mpg on 90% highway driving

    Can someone tell me if $31,000 not including tax and license seems like a good deal on a Lariat Crew Cab? The options on it are: cab steps,sliding rear window, moonroof, cargo cage, 5.4 engine, captain chairs, limited slip, and two-tone paint.
    I checked Edmunds invoice etc. and think it's an OK deal, but then, I'm slightly mathematically impaired .
    What do you think??

    If you are buying at or near Invoice it's a good deal. A little shopping will get you an S-Crew at or near the invoice price.
