God old Tindra fans just dont' get it eh?....must have been the free Ginsus that came with the truck that makes them so happy?
A sandwhich short of a picnic...good one Ryan..
That about sums up Toy fans...
As well as:
- A couple cans short of a 6 pack
- Their Elevator doesn't stop at all floors
- The lights are on..but nobodys home
- Not playing with a full deck
..I think we got a new forum here??
LOL
Go back to war....and when your mom says it's OK toy fans....come to my site....I hear tundras are the food of choice...

the Tundra owners and their trucks."
throw in "denial driven" and i think you're on target. rob's always been like that. bama has interesting input every once in awhile; if you like reading the same regurgiated magazine articles over and over. god forbid that guy come up with a thought on his own. bottom line is, these guys live for consumer reports. if CR says all tundras are perfect, then dadblammit, they're all perfect. can't wait to see the CR article previewing the 2001 models though - i think they just may be singing a different tune.
i like the main engine bearing story too. it adds a certain "spice" to my day. makes it more interesting. then, when i'm done with fiction reading, i go over to tundra solutions for humor...
awhile back they had a thread that was mocking the "f150 online" site. now THAT was funny. bunch of soccer moms, er, tundra owners trying to make fun of ford owners talking about performance mods to their trucks.

On the tire issue have you read what size tire it is? P235's hmm not many PICKUP trucks use this size. Ford explorers we are tlaking about pickups f-150 silverado ram and tundra here not SUV's. Changing the subject once again.
RWELL you missed our point totally. We never denied gm or ford defects. We tried to bring light that Toyota also has defects and problems which you seemed to ignore and think there were none and the "tundra" is the most perfect truck in the world well its a far cry from that.
Oh yea on the tundra board there are 9 pgs just for the vibs. I went through 1 pg to get all that info and that wasnt all of it.
We presented the fact that the tundra has problems of its own just like any other truck maker. That was our whole point. If you missed it oh well your not the brightest streetlight on the block then.
Case Closed once again
Ryan
Havn't checked, are those same tires on the Tundra too? Most likely.
Ryan
I recently test drove 4 Tundras covering 2 dealerships. All but one had an off road package, so 3 had BF Goodrich tires and 1 had Dunlops. The reason I test drove 4 Tundras in a matter of a couple of days, is they ALL had steering vibrations at 50 - 65 miles per hour! I haven't found one in a lot I will feel comfortable buying. I had no idea of how wide spread this situation was until I found this site. Thank God.
Ryan
So the Tacoma uses the same firestone tire as an f150 now?
The Tundra uses dunlops or bridgestone.
Sorry there's been no catostophic defect like your beloved ford f150, explorer, etc.
Ford KNEW about the faulty tires and did absolutely nothing to stop these tragic and unecessary deaths and cripplings. Of course GM KNEW about their exploding gas tanks and did nothing until they got sued for millions of dollars. Is that why the cheaply built and slapped together silverados cost so much? In reality poor guys like ryan/werking are helping pay GM's lawsuit woes.
Everyone; listen to Ryan and do not buy a Tundra. Every one of the postings from Tundra owners claiming their trucks are great have been a scam by Toyota marketing. Run, don't walk, To your nearest Chevy dealer and buy a Silverado! The best news is you'll be Ryan's buddy too.
Please so me a favor and say you get my point and you know the tundra isnt perfect and like every other truck out there it has its own problems. Alright? I know you know this but are afraid to admit just admit it please.
Ryan
his ugly head, reincarnated once again. This time
as f150rude.
f150rude? its f150rules
I guess from the looks of that i resorted to your level. Maybe a little harsher but it got your attention

"Yep, throw some weak insults and declare case closed."
per Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (Ninth Edition):
"Fact (n): a piece of information presented as having objective reality"
for example: posts from the tundra solutions board - say, did you give them your solution yet? i'm sure there are more than six tundra owners out there waiting to find out that if they get their tires balanced and alignment fixed, that annoying vibe they've been experiencing for almost a year now will go away
"Insult (n): a gross indignity"
for example: what emotional rob - who can't comprehend the FACT that his tundra actually is less truck for more buck - sees facts concerning the tundra as. rob, we gave you facts and figures - you took it as an insult. you can't deal with tundra issues without getting emotional. don't worry, it'll be ok.
"Ignore the dead and crippled people on the nightly news from yet another big-3 coverup."
uh, actually, firestone is a JAPANESE owned company.
"BTW, you "rocket scientist" caught my "five zeros" but never figured out what the fifth one referenced."
yeah we did...we know it represents YOU.

"There is no way I could even began to sort through the thousands of posts on many websites concerning the vast array of silverado/gm defects."
there's a pretty simple reason for this...you couldn't find any. ryan and i take 10-15 minutes out of a couple of days to pour a deluge of posts on you and you can't even find one. LOL! don't worry rob, you don't need to show us those posts, we know where to look. heck, we'll even admit they exist. you're the one still trying to convince everyone that blue flag is actually red.
as for the childish name-calling, perhaps you'd like to explain to us what you meant when you told ryan he could play with the safety scissors and the elmers, cuz it tastes good.
kyle
"I am sure the official stance is that these vibrations are within the design paramaters. They either don't get it, or they know they have a major problem and are trying to weather the storm with minimal losses. Why do you think the release of the Sequoia has been pushed back? Why do you think I am in arbitration with them? They may have a design problem, they think we are going to go away. They may find that their customer base does go away."
that's from a tundra owner! wow, same thing i been saying the last couple days. when the consumer report on the 2001 tundra comes out, we'll see where the ole initial quality and projected reliability numbers are, huh?
kyle
Your absolutely right, I tried really hard but couldn't find any negative posts about GM/Silverados! LOL.
Good job on the extra zero, I see you finally figured it out, not!
You mean their actually gonna build more of them deathtrap Tundra's. I thought you were going to blow that Indiana plant?....or....maybe you did!
Decatur Illinois. USA if you ask me unless the subject of geography has changed.
How do you think those tires end up on your truck? These companies bid and then they choose.
Ryan
Namecalling? I got a perfect cuss word to call them "Tundra" owners. Ooops, I just said it. Sorry for my gutter mouth.
if you look at 99% of the domestic-favoring posts, you'll find that all we're trying to say is that the tundra isn't as bullet-proof as you like to think it is. that is what i've closed the case on. i think others would agree. you seem to enjoy taking constructive criticism to the extreme, and that's ok. everyone here sees through that insecurity.
next customer please...
kyle
I choose not to give out my personal details which is why I x'ed out my name when registering. There are too many rwellbaum2 and bamatundra's out in the world.
If Ford new about a problem and dismissed it, you can bet Toyota did too. Toyota let a head gasket problem go on for years and did nothing to rectify it from happening in future years. Told customers it was faulty gaskets when truth is it was head design that caused the problems. Yaaa Toyota! Way to go! Superior quality there!
Tundra vs the Big 3
Big 3 meaning (gm ford dodge)
i can post all day in here or anywhere for a matter of fact.
I have been doing thre majority of posting in here with all the tundra testimonials.
Ryan
Your buddy Jude/f150 swears that the faulty firestones were made in japan and that Tacoma's use the same exact tire as an f-150. How about you guys getting your "stories" straight, then posting!
Ryan: I agree you do most of the posting here. All of it anti-Tundra.
I have not said blah blah blah the tundra is a piece of crap i just wanted to give the other spectrum of things.
Ryan
and I don't think Quads Ado shakes...
so robbie....how about them 3/4 and 1 ton Tundras?
DOHH!
- Tim

the only "stories" posted here are the fictional anecdotes you like to make up and post - without anything factual backing you up. for example - the "main engine bearing" and "defective frames" that gm is producing. i mean, where do you get this stuff? do you have any kind of written proof that this mysterious frame deficiency (that only YOU have mentioned) is what causes vibrations in SOME gm products? if you do then that puts gm in front of toyota, cuz toyota still don't have a CLUE how to fix all their broke trucks! just ask the guy who went back SEVEN times. LOL!
BTW - read up on tundra solutions - the ole tire balance/alignment ain't the problem...or the solution.
kyle
The good always does outweigh the bad. You have taken all the negative stuff about the silverado this is why we have comeback with negative stuff about the tundra. You think there is not a thing positive about the silverado. There goes your hypocritical side again. Now you see how we felt as you posted nothing but negatives about the silverado how do you like it? YOU DONT. Well dont dish it out if you cant take some back.
Ryan
kyle
happy with your truck too, even though it is a few
inches smaller in most all of the important places.
For peace of mind, you'll never have to worry
about your rear disc brakes, locking diff, or
Autotrack to let you down, unless you're
unfortunate enough to need them. You have your
emergency information posted on the refrigerator,
right?
