I'm going to guess it's a 412 of some vintage in the late '80s? (not too up on Ferrari)

ps - on the FV, didn't you have a different, huge, pic up for a little while? That's where I saw it.

BMW I6, about 1980? In a 5er?
Close enough, 1987 BMW 635CSi

I took that down as soon as I saw it was waaay oversized, it was only up for like 5 sec. :confuse:

The spoiler is over at today's Straightline.

But the pic doesn't meet the postwar requirement :P
2014 Malibu 2LT, 2015 Cruze 2LT,
Probably a lot less than today's SUVs or pickups!
....back to the weeds.
True, I keep forgetting Andy's rule back in Post #1.
Let me try to make it up to you (well, no fins, but the year is ok). Another one from Bob over at Straightline:
I for one would be willing to waive the prohibition on pre-war vehicles as well as concept cars, customs and one-offs providing they are clearly labeled as such. What say you?

That one looks more aggressive (fenders, wing) than the few I recall seeing in early 90's photos.
EDIT Actually, I've just looked it up and it was a Hercules engine on this one, although the earlier one did have a Continental motor...

That dressed up version would have appeared in one of those Autorama show cars, like this '49 with the transparent hood, to showcase this awesome new engine.

This is just one more cool car that we don't get here.
I wish at least one US car seller would gamble on a model like this: A 5-door tall, sporty hatch with a decent turbodiesel engine and manual gearbox. The Mazda5 comes closest here, but Europe is thick with rigs like that SEAT (Ford S-Max for instance)
Si, es un nuevo SEAT Leon Cupra.
