Here you go, g2369. Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 G37 Convertible with 15,000 miles per year are .00200 and 59%, respectively.

No problem jpr51. The car that you're interested in probably has a spread of slightly over $3,000 between its full MSRP and dealer invoice price. Add to that the $1,000 loyalty cash and you have $4,000 to play with in negotiations. You were quoted a $1,700 discount on this car. That probably more than $2,000 over dealer invoice. If I was in the market for a '10 G37 Sedan I personally would want at least another grand knocked off of its price.

Hi g2369. Unfortunately, the $1,500 cannot be used in conjunction with the special lease program.

Hi radbluejay1. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, you just can't take advantage of the dealer cash that's on this car. On a leftover 2009 G37, I personally would shoot for a selling price that's fairly close to dealer invoice and see what happens.

Greetings mkenny. Infiniti Financial Services' March buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 G37X Sedan with 10,000 miles per year are .00175 and 62%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00189 and 61%.

    Hi All,

I'm looking to lease the 2009 G37x Sedan (w/ Prem & Nav) as my first new car. I'm a total beginner to leasing.

I'm getting numbers like $430/month + $2700 "lease inception fees" due at signing. I think it *might* include sales tax, because I read somewhere that in NY state the sales tax is applied to the sum of the lease payments. The fees include a "bank fee" of several hundred dollars. I guess my first question is, are these fees reasonable and to be expected? Can I negotiate away the bank fee?

Also, if I think I might go over the 10k/year miles, should I opt for a more expensive 12k/year lease? I'd say I'm about 50% likely to go a few (let's say 5) thousand miles over in total.

    Thanks!

    hello,

what is the money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease for a 2010 Infiniti G37x Sedan with premium package?

I was quoted a 39 month lease for 446 per month, with $2830 due at signing plus $250 for DMV fees, 10k miles per year. Is this good?

    thanks

    Hi everybody,

While shopping for new cars, I stopped by couple of infiniti dealers. This was one of the lowest offer

    G37x with premium & navi
    12000/month for 36 months
    MSRP 41280
    $491/month.
    No other fees.
    491 due at delivery ( 1st month payment )
    Is this good?

Hi all. I'm in the market to lease a 2010 G37x, premium package. In the NY/NJ area. Not sure if I need/want navigation. Assuming I go without nav, I figure the MSRP should be in the $39k-40k range. I understand from earlier posts that the residual on a 10k mile/yr lease is currently 62% and the money factor is 0.00175.

How can I get a sense of what the dealer's true cost of the vehicle is to determine whether the agreed value is a good deal? In an earlier post there was a suggestion that there's probably at least a $4k difference between MSRP and the dealer's true cost (after accounting for holdbacks and other dealer incentives). Is $35k a fair agreed value?

I'd like to get the monthly payments down to the low $400's on a 36 month lease (w/o cap cost reduction). I think I saw an earlier post for $411 per month from Infiniti of Englewood. That sounds like a spectacular deal. I have a quote, without any meaningful negotiations, for $448/month, which I do not view as a good deal.

    Thanks in advance.
  • 37xer37xer Member Posts: 2
I think you could shave at least $10-$15/month off of that by negotiating the sale price of the car. This week I'll be picking up the 2010 G37x w/Prem for $438/month with only fees down. I didn't bother negotiating. I probably could have made them go lower, but after dealing with some sleazy dealers in the NY/NJ area I was glad to get a reasonable quote up front. I'm picking mine up in NH where I have another residence.

P.S. Please do NOT go to Infiniti of Manhasset, Queens. At least the salesman I dealt with (Mark) was dishonest and showed me no respect (i.e. treated me like I was a stupid kid that he could milk for money).

I received this offer today from a dealer that is 3 hours away from me.

The money factor for 36 months is .00202 but they are quoting me .00227 for 39 months. Are they trying to make a profit or does it go up for 39 months?

Also, the cap cost is under invoice which has me confused. Is there a rebate that I don't know about?

    MSRP $43,205
    39month lease with 18k miles/year
    $39,102 cap cost
    money factor is .00227
    $0 cash due @ signing
    payment is $587 tax included

My local dealer has 26 coupes left over from 2009. (Another dealer has 9.) 6 of thease are exactly what I want to lease. What is a good cap cost to go for? Invoice seems high for a year old model new car.

Would it be better to just lease a 2010?

And if possible what are the MF and Res% for just a 2009 2WD coupe with prem? MSRP $40715.

    Thanks in advance

I just got a quote on a 39 mo. lease for a 2010 Coupe, with an identical MSRP and 15k miles per year. The quote is $485 / mo. (tax included) with $0 down. Seems decent to me.

New to the forum; but it looks like a good deal.
My best deal was at a place in Westchester NY.

    '10 g37s 6mt, w/ nav. side sills, spoiler, mud flaps. $45300
    36 month lease
    18k
    3k TOP
    payment being $550.

Where is this dealer you got the price from if you dont mind me asking?

I current have an '08 same model and lease is over next month, so im thinking of getting the car again. But times have def changed. When i got my '08 i got a 24 month lease 3k TOP, same exact model, 18k a year, $460 a month.
  • g2369g2369 Member Posts: 61
Apparently I was quoted the wrong car. The salesman i'm working has been a nightmare.

The actual price for the car is.
    MSRP $43,205
    cap cost $41,290
0 down and 0 due at signing.
    Payment $597 including 6% tax
Money factor at .00225 (the base is .00202)
    Didn't get the residuals.
    36/18k

I'm not to happy with this deal. Any imput from Infiniti employees?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Just got a deal in NY for a G37x with Prem and Nav, mrsp 41280 for $440/month, $1580 down for 39 months, 15000 miles a year. This included NY tax and all fees.

It is much better to pay for miles in advance, save big time over the term of the lease. It is about $11 a month more to go to 12000 a year and another $11 or 12 a month on top of this to go for the 15000.

    Hope this helps.

    premium
    navigation
    wood trim
    lighted steps
    mats
    nitrogen tire fill

478/month including tax with first month down and $500 bank fee + DMV

i figure this is 440/month plus tax

    MSRP = 41,500

they first tried to push me a 2009 fully loaded for 499 but they are really pushing the cars out. i prob could've gotten another $10/month too

I'm new here and don't understand leases, but my local Infiniti dealer posted a G-37 Convertible (trim line not mentioned), 10,000 miles, 39 months $499 per month, model 92119 plus tax, tag and $198.50 closing and delivery fee, no deposit, MSRP $49855. My wife and I will probably drive for 3 years and turn it in for a sedan. Is this any good? Can anyone recommend a primer and how to look at a lease? I always bought and held for 8 years, but I think she'll be ready to turn it in at 3 years. Just guessin.
    Thanks
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
I have the feeling you are missing a number there. I just don't see a $50k car being leased for $500 a month. I think you are missing a huge cap cost reduction (down payment) in the deal. Most advertised lease deals include such a requirement to advertise a great monthly payment. Which BTW is a horrible thing to do on a lease. If indeed there is no cap cost reduction it sounds like a heck of a deal to me, but I doubt it.

My Favorite Leasing Site Once you read the info on this site you will realize that the proper way to negotiate a lease is just like when you buy, on the selling price instead of by payment.

For sake of comparison I am working on trying to do a lease for the G37x Sedan with the premium package and currently have an offer of 469 per month including taxes. Upfront fees should be just bank fee and DMV fees which should total around 1000(in NY) from my experience. This would be for 39 months and 10K miles per year.

Additionally does any one have comments on the above lease and what would be the opinion if I could get the above for 425 per month or what is a fair price between 425 and 469?

Can someone explain to me what should be a good negotiated price to base my lease on for a 2010 G37X with Premium/Nav/Sports?

It's a little confusing understanding what incentive can and can not be applied to the lease.

Should the negotiated price be higher than invoice or lower? From what I have read, it seems at this stage it should be lower. So what incentives can I use to calculate the price that I should negotiate with the dealer with?

Thank you for your help! I am trying to complete a lease deal before EOD Wed., so I can decide if I should continue with a new 335XI lease or switch what certainly will be a much cheaper G37XS lease.

    Thank you all!

Thank you for the info. I specifically asked "No down payment? The ads always say $4000 down ...". My wife verified since I asked twice, zero down payment or deposit. However, the car is a 2009 and the 2011 models are on the lot. If I used your approach of what would I buy a 2009 for, then it would not be MSRP of $49855 as stated in the ad. I wonder what they have been doing with the car since it was made?
Really appreciate the reference for lease negotiations. I'm doing a crash course.
    Thanks again.

As I have been procrastinating my new car, I now need the April
MF and residual numbers for 2010 G37x 12,000 miles/yr 36 and 39 month terms please.

Also, is Infiniti still supporting leases of 2009 models now that it is alreayApril, 2010? Local dealer still has a few 09's left and in March was still leasing. If Infiniti is still leasing 09 models in April, what are the April MF and residual for 09 G37x 12,000 mi/yr, 36 and 39 month terms? Thanks so much.

With help from ya'll, I did a crash course on leases. Here's what I got:

Hi spydervr4. Other than $1,000 owner loyalty cash, Infiniti is not currently providing any cash incentives on leases of the 2010 G37 Sedan. The closer this car's selling price is to dealer invoice price the better. I personally would shoot for $500 or so over invoice and see what happens. you can look up the invoice price of the exact car that you want over in the New Vehicle Pricing section of Edmunds.com.

Also, i have negotiated $1,500 over invoice on my first visit, makes me feel there is more in the tank, involice maybe>?.If not what sort of price should i be paying? Im in Dallas Tx. Thanks in advance for any help.
  • zxedzxed Member Posts: 18
"negotiated $1,500 over invoice"... is not a deal.

you should be aiming for up-to 3% below invoice. esp for the 2010 model. 3 more months and 2010 will be last years model. if you want a minim haggle price., google zag amex., go to website., price out car.... you dont have to use amex.., its good pricing.. fill up the form., and a dealer will bite., with price honored.
i.e. base g37 2010 conv., with no added options., invoice 41815, zag amex will link you to someone who will give you one for around., 40,815 on a purchase... thats 1k of invoice on purchase., ., you can bargain for 300-600 off invoice easily for lease.,

    2010 G37x coupe AWD

Options: Premium package, trunk net, first aid kit, splash guards, trunk mat

    MSRP: $43,310
    Invoice: $39,834
    TMV edmunds: $40,620

So here is the lease deal:
    Agreed upon value 40,500
MF .00205 or equal to 4.92%
    Residual 63%
    Months 39
    Miles 12k

These were given to me on the first offer.

I put $1000 down and they gave me an additional $304 over my pay off on trade. Add in $595 acquisition fee and $250 document fee plus taxes paid up front in Ohio puts the final payment at $499/mo.

Then they also paid my first month's payment and registration fees for close to $600

All in all I signed feeling this was a very fair deal and service was great. The salesman stayed 2 hours past closing to finish the deal. Finance guy was there 90 min after closing and didn't try to sell me a single extra option. Sales manager was very professional, honest, gave me what I thought was a fair deal on first offer and also stayed late. I'm interested to hear any input on this transaction. And if anybody is interested, I purchased the vehicle from Infinity of Columbus in Ohio. I highly recommend them. Thanks for the feedback

Hi dallaspt. I like the accidental use of the shift key (G#&). It looks like you were cursing out this car :P . Here's the information that you;re looking for. You never mentioned how long you want to lease for or what mileage allowance you need, so I had to make some assumptions. Let me know if you want something different.

Infiniti Financial Services' April buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2010 G37 Convertible with 15,000 miles per year are .00211 and 60%, respectively.
