I finally got OTD 33720 with 5.85% APR in Dallas TX. The IS 250 has premium package, 18in wheels, wood trim. The dealer gave me the extra window tint and some touch up paint. The other dealer in town had almost the same price. I picked the one with better service.

Hey nicecar, which dealership in dallas did you negotiate with?
  • dennis56dennis56 Member Posts: 3
Sounds like a good deal on the IS 350 with the Nav and Mark Levinson package. I just picked one up furnished as yours including the parking assist, rear cameras, and spoiler. Paid $ 42,000 before the tax, title and transfer. I bought the Smokey Mica color with the cashmere interior.

Bought it from Metro Lexus in the Canton / Akron area. I am from Massachusetts and looked for them here in New England. Could only find the IS 250 AWD and thought it was underpowered. Had the new IS 350 shipped here and it arrived Saturday, May 19th. Delearship was good to work with and I thought it was a good deal. Hope this helps in your decision.

I'm in the bay area shopping for an IS250 RWD auto w/Navi as well and it seems like the dealers aren't budging at all. The best (initial quote) that i've received was around $300 under invoice. Not sure if its a good deal or not considering its a holiday weekend and towards the end of the month. Any other experiences in the bay area?

See my reply # 1829 regarding the IS 350 that we just purchased.

Swell Lexus of Dallas. They are better than Park Place. I figure if I wait a little longer, I could get slightly better deal. I am very impressed with their service.

Basically, I tested drove Lexus carS (more than one) for four whole days before I decided to buy this one.

Got an IS250 Manual from a dealership in West Los Angeles for ~$27,800. Came with HID, 18" tires and accessory pkg (floor mats, wheel locks, trunk mat, cargo locks, etc).

MSRP was $32,861, invoice was $28,614.

This forum has been very helpful – so here’s the deal I got from Longo Lexus in So. Cal.

    IS250 RWD Automatic
EXT: Obsidian (black) INT: Cashmere (tan)
Premium Package: heated and ventilated perforated leather seats; wood trim
    18” Alloys with summer tires
    HID with AFS headlights
    Nav system

    MSRP: 37,841

I emailed Longo requesting their best OTD price. They called me the same day and offered 35,500 OTD. Went to Longo the next day and we agreed on 34,800 OTD.

    Sale Price: 31,834.38
    Tax: 2,630.87
    License: 279.75
    Doc Fee: 55.00
    OTD: 34,800.00

Drove it home that day. Good luck to all those in the market.

Im in the market for a 250 but am thinking about waiting for the 08' to come out so i negotiate a better deal?

Any significant changes to the 08 version? Thanks!!!
  • ayu910ayu910 Member Posts: 1
same here, around $300~500 below invoice BUT in Obsidian Black w/o Nav only and at invoce for most of other colors w/o Nav and +$300 w/Nav. seem lik dealer just want to push the configuration they have the most on hand first (w/o nav, color of Obsidian/Starfire/Tungsten)
I prefer black sapphire w/nav but appear to be very limited in this region. Any case, maybe the dealer is just playing the color game and I will try again end of month. If no success I'm just go for the lowest bidder and discare about the color. Everyone said $2000 below invoice is just not possible...I guess some people really got lucky.
  • th79ncth79nc Member Posts: 11
Wow! what Bay area Dealerships are you getting these quotes from.

    Hi,

I am looking for an IS250 AWD with Navigation and it comes to about MSRP $37k and invoice is $33k. Is invoice the cheapest one can get or can it go lower than invoice?

Also, I live in Iowa and there is only ONE dealership where I live. Since all the good deals come from California, is it possible for me to call a dealership in CA and get them to sell me a car?

    Any help/guidance/tips are greatly appreciated
  • subearusubearu Member Posts: 3,613
An IS250 AWD w/ NAV is more like $38k, including destination (about $39k if you do the NAV & Mark Levinson premium audio). Invoice is somewhere over $34k. Just looking at CarsDirect.com in Iowa it appears to be $1,500 over invoice. Seems to be about the same type of pricing as Chicago and Milwaukee areas (my area). Also try doing the TMV for your area from the Edmunds main pages.

You certainly could call any out of state dealer and purchase, but you'll need to get the car to you, either by driving it or trucking it. Both can be costly at times and may negate any savings advantages.

Have you inquired with your local dealer yet to see where they'll begin pricing?

Are the money factors different for an IS350 vs. an IS250?

Also, Lexus Financial's money factors seem to be unusually high for the industry -- I've been quoted (in SoCal) .00175 from BMW, .00158 from Infiniti, and an incredible .00065 from Audi (although I'm turning in a leased Audi A4, so that may be some sort of customer loyalty discount). Any reason why Lexus' interest rates are so much higher than the competition?

Hi, I am from the seattle area, can't wait to get my hands on one of those beautiful IS250. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Lexus Dealerships in Seattle area and what the purchase price was. Also, if it would be a better idea to purchase it from California and ship it to Washington.

    Thanks for the info!

    Hello,

Does anyone happen to know what Lexus factory to dealer incentives are on the IS250? I'm getting all my materials ready to negotiate and this would be a great help. Thanks.
  • subearusubearu Member Posts: 3,613
I don't think Lexus is doing any incentives or rebates right now, at least not in my area http://www.edmunds.com/incentives/RebateController?step=1&setzip=60631&tid=edmunds.n.incentivesindex.incentives.1.1.*

Seems like they're going for a tad over invoice if you take from dealer stock.

I am trying to work out a deal with my local Lexus dealer for an IS250 with Luxury package, Nav, etc..., but they do not have the configuration that I am looking for. They stated that it would cost $800.00 to have the car I am looking for transported to my location (Fl to NC). Does this sound right? They state that this is non negotiable and appears to be a deal breaker. Help!
  • subearusubearu Member Posts: 3,613
Probably some profit in there, but perhaps they are just pushing the transportation costs onto you. Which is acceptable, if it's getting on a flatbed and trucked to your location.

If anyone is looking to buy a Lexus, esp. IS250. Look no further. BC at SC of the Internet Sales Dept. is the man that can help you out. He gave me a quote with no BS at all and it was the lowest price that I can anywhere in the forums.

Check out the dealership near Santana Row and look for BC at Internet Sales

  • kcleukkcleuk Member Posts: 45
    Hi,

Question, to those who are in this forum. I am looking to buy an 07 IS250 AWD w/ Navi somewhere in September/October.

What is a reasonable or considered a good deal for an OTD price for the IS250 AWD w/ Navi? I know it differs based on where you are, but I want to have a rough idea.

    Thanks a lot!

Live in Omaha, NE negotiating an IS350 with Plaza Lexus in St. Louis that I would have shipped. Basically it's a new 2007 with premium package that is around 38,600 MSRP. I've been told that these are really hard to find, and kind of bought into it and the dealer told me 36,500 before TTL is the price he offered. After reading these forums it seems like I can do a lot better. What price should I demand from him, I'm thinking 36,500 would be a decent price after TTL for me or can I do even better? Oh, and these forums are awesome, I probably would have paid $37,000 before TTL without this knowledge.

    sup guys,

I am in the market to buy a lexus is 350 and I feel like I am getting ripped off. I went to a lexus dealership in New Jersey and got some pretty high numbers atleast in my opinion. Can anyone confirm my thoughts? Or am I getting a good deal?

    2007 Lexus is 350
    Fully Loaded/ Navi
    Msrp 43,793
NJ=7% tax comes to about 2,700
Price I got 39,500 before tax and stuff
    7.41% interest rate
All together the car with interest comes to 42,389

    is this a good deal?

    hi...

i am interested in purchasing a is 250 in northern california. we would like the black smoky granite mica with black interior. also the ll plus package. has anyone purchased one and would be willing to give pricing out the door...and where you purchased?
  • vinnynyvinnyny Member Posts: 764
$4300 off MSRP sounds good to me if they're not making it up elsewhere. The interest rate seems high, but that depends on your credit history. If you're trading something in, they could also be making some money back there.

I have only gotten one price so far, on a Lexus IS250 with the PT package, Preferred Accessory Pkg, with the 18" wheels. Price was $31,120 - MSRP is about $35,291

Sounds like a great deal to me - $100 under invoice. What do you think?

Anyone have an idea on when the 08 IS will come out? Thanks.

do you mind if i ask where you are getting quoted that price??? i have a dealer quoteing me almost $33,000 and then he wondered why i walked out
  • porchieporchie Member Posts: 50
Since I posted that message I got prices from 2 other places and that is still the lowest.

    Carsdirect.com - $31,120
    Valencia Lexus - $32,290
    Keyes Lexus - $33,000

All identical cars, kind of weird how the prices are so varied. Try carsdirect.com and see what comes up for your area. Im in Southern California
