What is the current residual for a 2014 es350 or es300h for 27 months. What is the money factor. A so cal dealer told me a mf. Of .oo9. I asked if any benefit of extra deposits he said no because mf is so low. Any comments on this are appreciated

    2014 ES350 27mo, 15K/yr lease
.0010 MF and 68% residual. Hybrid has the same numbers.

I'm not sure of Lexus rules on multiple security deposits, but that isn't normal for other makes (Infiniti and BMW, for example)

Thanks to all the posts on this forum. We pulled the trigger on a 2014 es300h yesterday. Sticker was 46,763, included blind spot monitor, hid lamps, power sunshade, luxury package, nav, pearling assist, rain sensing wipers, wood steering mats.

Using info from this site we were able to negotiate the following, gross cap cost 41,200 there was a 500 rebate from lexus, mf .oo10 which I have been told is their buy rate, 10k annual miles, 27 month term with 71% residual. Our payment is 389.73 with 1000 out of pocket.

I would say that $409/mo for a car that stickered at close to $45K is a pretty good deal. You must have gotten the dealer to take quite a bit off that price.

Thank you Michael. I thought it was a good deal, but then I saw the comment above from wineman123... $389.73 with $1,000 down on a $46,763 MSRP! Then wineman123 has a terrific deal!!! His MSRP is 4% higher than mine and his payment is 4.7% less monthly with a 31% lower down payment! I am assuming we are comparing apples to apples and wineman's price also includes all taxes and that his down payment includes his first monthly payment too. Way to go wineman123!!!

Newbie58, you have to also remember that wineman resides in California. If I'm not mistaken, they have a much lower Money Factor there.

    We'll need the selling price.

The base MF for tier 1 is .00075, so it looks like the dealer is marking it up a bit for some extra profit.

Also, there is $500 lease cash available for the ES350.

What is the selling price? How much of the $3760 is used to reduce the cap cost?

Hard to evaluate the deal until we get that information.

OK, plugging in your numbers and applying the $2425 to the selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $338.51 - with 8% tax, it comes to $365.69.

If I back out the down payment, the price with tax increases to $440.31.

@puthiamadam‌ If youre willling to put anything down take look at their Multiple security deposit you could do up to 9 multiple security deposits and its 100% refundable at lease end. could be around the same payment you are quoted probably 15$ more a month plus you get your money back. Best Of luck Let me know.

Thanks for the tip about the MSD. I am paying $3,375 in MSD and an initial payment of $1,770 including my first payment. My monthly payment is $375 (36 month lease with 10,000 miles). No cash down.

Hello...Here's my offer for a ES350, sticker 44,993.00, selling price: 41,341.00 plus tint = 399.00. (Arizona...must have tint, lots of tint) so: $41740.00

    36/12K @ .00105 (which I know is high). I believe that should be .00075.

    $1919 + $500 rebate down = $2419.00. Residual of $26,995.80.

Payment of $519.28...what do you think?? I asked about the MSD and they said they don't that...???

For every $1000 I add to the out of pocket money down, the payment goes down about $30/month. I also asked about 15K miles and the payment when up $25/month.
Please let me know what you think. And thank you in advance, I have lived on this website for the past 2 weeks. Also looking at BMW 5 series, Audi A6.

The residual of 60% is correct and the base MF is in fact .00075 as you've noted.

Plugging in your numbers with the .00105 MF I get a pre-tax payment of $481.73. If I reduce the MF to .00075, the payment drops to $461.11.

Your assumptions about money down and miles per year are correct ... however, it's not a good idea to put money down on a lease, as if the car is stolen or totaled, you are out that money. Going to 15K per year decreases the residual by 2%.

I'm not sure if a dealer has the right to refuse MSD - have you contacted a different dealer and see what they say?

Using your MSRP and selling price (should that be $41,872.34?) with the MF of .00075 and residual of 60% I get a pre-tax payment of 474.39. Add 8% sales tax and I get $512.34

If you're comfortable with the selling price, it looks good from here.

    rebate $500

    9 MSDs + fees $6322.98 ($4500.00 + $1822.98)

    Residual: $26,995.80

    Payment: $445.84

And a bit more the the 36/15 of course. $6547.98 MSD and $472.80 payment.

Again, plugging in your new numbers (MSRP, selling price and adjusted MF) with a 60% residual, I get a pre-tax payment of $399.11. The tax rate would have to be higher than 10% to get to a payment of $445.84.

Unless I'm calculating the net cap cost wrong by not adding in the tint.

Sort of .. any miles over 15K are deducted at the rate of .20 per mile. And, 20K is the maximum Lexus Financial will write a lease for.

So, instead of a percentage, you take the 15K residual value and deduct from it.

ES350 residual for 36/15 is 58% and the base MF is .00075.

Thanks for the info. By my calculations that puts the residual at about 56%. Do you know what a typical price over invoice is for Lexus these days? I know in the early years it was hard to get much of a discount at all. Not sure where they are these days.

    Re: Wineman123's post Jan 5/14 - 2014 ES 300h MSRP $46,763, Gross capital cost $41,200.
If we were to buy rather than lease from that Fresno dealer, is $41,200 what we should expect to pay? $5,563 seems like a pretty good discount off MSRP. Any problems buying across state lines - we're in AZ. Thanks.

Base residual for 15K is 58% this month .. but, for 20K miles, the residual is reduced by .20/mile, or $1000.

    MF is .00035
