    Hello,

I am looking for the MF and Residual for Audi A6 3.0 Premium Plus Quattro for 36 months and 10k/12k in yearly mileage - for the month of July? Also, are there any incentives which Audi is giving - I have an Acura right now.

    Thanks.

    .00037 and 53% for 36/12. Add 1% for 10K.

Only incentive I'm aware of is that Audi will make your first payment.

Using your MSRP and net cap cost with 50% residual and .00037 MF, I get a pre-tax payment of $684.51.

How much trade equity are you putting into this deal? You might want to consider using it for MSDs to lower the MF. And, you get that money back at the end of the lease.

    1. Lease price - Does yours include sales taxes?
    2. Trade Equity - $5,580
    3. MSDs - Do I just ask the dealer if I can do that and what impact it would have on the deal?
    4. Is the trade off that I'd get the money back later vs. a lower payment due to the lower net cap cost?

No - my payment is pre-tax

    1. Trade Equity - $5,580

    OK, good to know.

    1. MSDs - Do I just ask the dealer if I can do that and what impact it would have on the deal?

Yes, talk to your salesperson or finance rep about using MSDs; they reduce the MF used and therefore your payment is lower.

    1. Is the trade off that I'd get the money back later vs. a lower payment due to the lower net cap cost?

Exactly - you get the security deposit back at the end of the lease. With a down payment, you don't.

The amount of each security deposit is the monthly payment rounded up to the next $25. Each security deposit reduces the MF by .00005. A maximum of 9 security deposits can be applied.

So the 36 month MF is the same (.00037) for 2014s and 2015s? Thats great if so as I was expecting 2015s to be higher. I don't take delivery of it until late August but I was wanting to check leading up to then so if its a good rate, then I could do a rate lock. Do you recommend locking in the .00037?

Whoops ... .00079 is the MF for the 2015. My apologies. 52% residual for 36/12.

    42/12 is .00099 and 45%.

We are about to order an A6 TDI Premium Plus for late October delivery with an MSRP of $60,000. We will lease the car for 3 years at 20K per year/60K over 36 months. We need the 20K/year mileage. I understand that the residuals and MFs in effect on the delivery date will apply, but am following what is in effect today for indicative purposes.
Question: Sometimes the MFs are typed with two zeroes after the decimal point meaning almost 10% APR, other times there are three zeroes. Which is correct, two or three zeroes?
Question: A delivery date of 11/1/14 would suggest a 2015 model, right?
Question: Do you have any MFs and residuals for 2015 models?
Question: To get the residual for a 20K/year I have been taking the 15K residual and then reducing it by 15 cents for each mile over 15K. Correct?
Question: For us, our car is an appliance. This lease is meant to dovetail an expiring, 10/31 non-Audi lease. Any suggestions for getting the absolute best deal? Is 3 to 5% off MSRP before incentives still the goal on a 2015?
THANK YOU- you are a champ!

It depends on the manufacturer and model. I've seen MF's as low as .00001 (Mazda) and as high as .00200 (Porsche). It depends.

Question: A delivery date of 11/1/14 would suggest a 2015 model, right?

If it's special ordered, yes, I would assume it's a 2015 model year.

Question: Do you have any MFs and residuals for 2015 models?

We do, but as you've noted, the July numbers won't apply to an October delivery date.

Question: To get the residual for a 20K/year I have been taking the 15K residual and then reducing it by 15 cents for each mile over 15K. Correct?

Correct - up front miles are purchased at .15 per.

Question: For us, our car is an appliance. This lease is meant to dovetail an expiring, 10/31 non-Audi lease. Any suggestions for getting the absolute best deal? Is 3 to 5% off MSRP before incentives still the goal on a 2015?

You can use the pricing tools at the top of the page to help figure out what your target price is. At the moment, you should be able to negotiate up to 6% off sticker on a 2014 model.

THANK YOU- you are a champ!

We certainly try. Thanks for the compliment.

    Gas? .00037 MF and 47% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr.

They are already giving a 2015 A6 lease program.. Usually, that means those are being built and delivered, this month. I'd be surprised if there were any more 2014 models in the pipeline.

So I backed into the price I'm being offering for a 2015 Premium Plus w/ the CW, WW and LED packages. MSRP is $61,855, Invoice is $58,094 and the price is $56,840 (2% discount to invoice and 8% to MSRP). Seems like a good deal for a brand new model year car. I was told the 36 month MF was .00099 and the residuals were 56% for 10,000 and 57% for 7,500. 42 month lease was a worse deal (higher monthly payment) w/ a .00119 MF and 49% and 50% residuals, respectively. Also think I am getting my first payment for free.

Am I getting a good deal and are the MFs and residuals accurate for NY?

This is a 3.0T Premium Plus? It appears they are marking up the MF by .00020 on both terms... But, residuals are only 4% less on the 42 month term... Looks like they quoted 10K and 7.5K/yr on the 36 month term, but misquoted you on the 42 month term.

1st payment is included.. That is a big discount on a 2015... which might account for them bumping the money factor.

Yes Premium Plus 3.0T. Not sure I follow the MF and residual comments. What SHOULD the MF and residuals be for:

    36 / 10k; 36 / 7.5k; 42 / 10k; 42 / 7.5k

Based on what they quoted I would definitely go w/ a 36 mo lease (sounds like those amounts are closer to accurate and they are messing w/ the 42 mo lease). But the MF change is not insignificant.

Overall seems like a pretty decent deal though.

    Thanks!

    .00099 MF and 52% residual./ .00099 MF and 53% residual.

I don't think they are messing with the 42 month numbers... .they simply forgot to adjust for lower mileage, and started with the 15K/yr number, instead of the 10K/yr number. Dealers can't change residuals... they likely just made a mistake quoting the numbers..

Yes, I meant Gas for 12k annual mileage. Why does Premium Plus and Prestige have such a large difference in residual (around 4%)?

It's typical for higher trim lines to have a lower residual percentage. While a new car buyer might be willing to pay $4000 more for a higher trim line, on the re-sale market that's worth more like $500.

    2014 - .00037 and 47% for 36/15

    2015 - .00079 and 50% for 36/15

    Add 2% for 12k.

I would think 5-7% off sticker for the 2014; less for the '15.

Thanks for the info. With the minimal amount down, they are quoting me $710 for 36 months and 7500 miles (which should be enough for me). Using the "right" MF it comes out to $692 according to my math. Going to see if we can at least split the difference. At $700 a month and the minimal amount down, looks like the implied price is $57,115 which is a 7.7% discount to MSRP. Seems pretty solid for a 2015.

Do the residuals and MFs on comparably equipped A7's tend to mirror the A6's? I know the 2015 A7's aren't out yet. Based on comparably equipped 2014's, looks like the MSRP is about $9,400 more for the A7. So with similar MFs and residuals, looks like the payment would be ~$270 more a month. Does that seem about right?

Sort of, but not good to always assume they will be.

For example, the MF on the 2014 A6 3.0T Prestige is .00037, while for the A7 3.0T Prestige it is .00055. 36/15 residual is 47% for the A6 and 48% for the A7. So they sort of balance out.

$9400 over 36 months is $261/mo, so pretty close.

Can you tell me the MF and Residual values for 2015 Audi A6 3.0T Premium Plus? I am contemplating between 2014 and 2015 A6 models. Looks like the residual values of 2015 is higher while 2014 models have higher discounts. Which model (2014 or 2015) would you recommend? This is purely for lease purposes and we plan to return the car after 3 years.

Also, is there any changes between 2014 and 2015 A6 PP models? From all the documentation I have read, they look exactly the same.

    Thanks.

You are correct; new models tend to have higher residuals but also higher MFs. I the '14 and '15 are exactly the same, I'd go for the one that is the better deal.

    Thanks for your reply.

Sorry, can you also tell me the Residual Value for 2015 Audi A6 3.0T & TDI Premium Plus for 3yrs/12k and for 3yrs/10k? Are there any specials for 2015 A6 models for the month of July?

Add 2% to the number above for 12k and 3% for 10k on the 3.0T Prem +.

TDI numbers are .00091 and 53% for 36/15. Same adjustments for mileage.

Only incentive I'm aware of is that Audi will make your first payment, up to $1000.

I just got my 2015 PP on Saturday. Traded in my 2012 PP. Not sure about differences vs. the '14 (although I'm pretty sure the '14 and '12 were nearly identical) but the '15 PP comes w/ the S-line accents (honeycomb mesh on the front and back) and allows you to add the LED light package (previously you need to get the Prestige package for LEDs). That was a big deal for me as I really wanted the LEDs. Also mine came w/ the Warm Weather package which gives you the 4 zone climate control and sun shades (also standard on the Prestige I believe). Finally there is now a 3 point steering wheel vs. the 4 point previously. So mostly cosmetic stuff but some changes.

Based on what you are saying regarding the MSD, does that mean I could bring the MF to 0 or essentially have 0% interest for the 2014 rates you listed?

No - Audi insists that the lowest MF allowed is .00005.

I am getting following deal in NJ on A6 Prestige.
MSRP: $63,470 negotiated price $57,150. then add AUDI loyalty discount of $2K and additional $610 through my company. I am quoted monthly lease of $673.90 and around $3600 at the time of sign in. MF: 0.00079 and Res: 52%. This is for 12K/36 months. I am not sure how they are getting to monthly and due at signing. I will pay inception fee, tax, title registration, dealer fee etc at purchase. Is this good deal?
