My current lease for a 2012 E350 matures in 6 months. My dealer sent a letter offering $3,500 as a Summer Event Bonus and $1,750 as a Preferred Customer Bonus. Can these be added to my USAA discount?
    Many thanks.

I don't know; check the terms and conditions of your USAA discount to see if other offers can be combined.

Ok If I put the minimum down (1000) what kind of payment would I be looking at? 24 months, 20k a year

Base MF is .00130, so the second dealer has inflated the MF for a bit of extra profit. What are the selling prices of the two deals? Folks have been getting quite a bit off sticker lately.

I've not owned an MB, so cannot comment on the value of the maintenance program.

Could you please explain what you mean by having the maintenance program residualized? The LEV is 67% or $41,208.35. Do you think that MB's leasing program on the E350 will extend into August? Thank you.

What that means is that you only pay part of the cost of the maintenance program, rather than the full cost.

Let's say the maintenance program is $1000 ... if you pay it all up front, it costs you $1000. If you add it into the lease payment, then you only pay the 33% of the $1000 (assuming 67% residual), spread out over the length of the lease.

Some members have been able to have the maintenance plan added to the MSRP, for the purpose of figuring the residual amount. That makes it cheap, even if you pay full price for the plan.

Hi Car_Man. You gave me the MF and residual for a MB E Coupe 550 36/12K. Thx. Could you also provide the following:

    • E350 Coupe 4-matic, MF for 27 and 36 months, 12K miles
    • E550 Coupe, 27 month, 12K miles
From what I'm reading on this forum, 27 months sounds an overall better deal.
      Thanks again

There are no 27-month deals on the coupes, only the sedans...

Thanks Car_man. For 2015, looks like MB will do away with the E350 and introduce an E400, with a new v6 twin turbo, gasoline powered, with output increasing to 328HP. Major increase in torque too. The E550 will still be offered in the coupe and convertible, but not the sedan.

Why are the MFs differrent for E350 and E250? Are the Aquisition fees the same nationwide or does it vary?

The E350 is the bread and butter for Mercedes... they need to move a lot of them, and they incentivize the money factor to do just that. Diesel owners tend to be more likely to pick the car they want, and with the lower volume, Mercedes likely believes they can sell as many as they want with that money factor.. (either that, or they are using a dart-board).

The base Mercedes Finance acquisition fee is $795, nationwide. Dealers are permitted to mark up the fee for extra profit. (maximum is $300 markup for total of $1095)

Hi guys just did this deal on my Mercedes E350 2014. 27 month lease with 7500 miles a year and the maintenance program included in the monthly payment. 26 payments of $387. Base payment is $358.
2015. MSRP was $59,000. Due at signing was $6050 In that amount was $387 first month, $3864 Cap Cost Reduction, $895 Acquisition fee, $387 sales tax, $101 Regitration titling fee, $324 license fees, $80 document process fee, $18 electronic filing fee, CA tire fees $8.
The residual amount is $41,050. Gross Cap Cost is 51346 and adjusted cap cost is 47482.

Few facts: I have tier 2 credit, I have no vehicle turn in fee or disposition fee, and the reason the down payment is so high is that family paid that and wanted to just pay it now to lower the payment. any advice would be appreciated. I chose 7500 miles cause I dont drive but 2 miles round trip to work.

We generally recommend against making a down payment on a lease. You did get a pretty large discount from sticker, so that's a positive.

Getting a low number of miles helped, as that kept the residual pretty high.

Yes, I personally would not have done that because of the forum, but my family member was insisting on it so I couldn't say no. Another thing I forgot to mention was they paid off my prior lease final payment and disposition fee which was about $700 combined.

Given the end of the month approaching, are any of you confident that the deals going on right now will extend into August or beyond? It seems like many of you are getting great numbers during this "summer event". What happens in the late summer/fall?

Also, it seems some are getting better than the advertised deal--some significantly so. How are you swinging that? In my experience, I've seen some movement from the national deals, but rarely a significant one.
    Thanks.

Hard to predict with any accuracy what will happen to the lease numbers in the next month or two or three.

I can tell you that as the 2014's are cleared out, finding one in your color or with the options you want will be more difficult - and the ability to negotiate great deals may wane as well.

Hello I would like to thank all of you for helping me negotiate my deal. I always read these forums to give me an idea of what I have to ask for....

    I just picked up a 2014 E350 sport sedan MSRP 59275
    Polar white/blk mb tex
    18inch 5 spoke
    rear spoiler
    P1 package
    Lighting package
    Sport package

    Gross cap 51230
    Cap Cost 221.66
    Adjusted Cap Cost 53861
    Mo 651
    add tax 58

27mo lease with 27K miles total. 1500 down incl first mo payment
Monthly total incl tax is 709.90

They did roll me into a new lease 6months early . I was way over my miles. I had already hit my 33K on a 33mo lease. My payments are higher by 50$ compared to my old lease but the MSRP is higher at 59k vs 55k.

I think i got a good deal. Any thoughts?

Get Mercedes maintenance as part of your lease. It should be treated like any other feature and if the cost is $800, you will only pay 32% of that over the 27 months.

Maybe not, but use autopay which will reduce your money factor. You can/should roll that 795 bank fee into the monthly payments.

Hello- and thank you for your work making this such a helpful site!

I am currently looking into getting the 2014 E550 coupe and I would like to know what the lease rate (MF) and residual is for 36mo/12k. Also, are there any incentives with this? I spoke with a finance rep in Fort Lauderdale and they quoted 0.0024 - which I thought was ridiculously high. He said hey hold 3 points over the 0.0021 that is the standard. Needless to say, I am trying another dealership.

I am also tossing up the idea of getting the 2014 E350 sedan- which I was quoted at MSRP $65,680 - VIP Discount ($10,000) = $55,680 selling price + $1724.58 balance on my current vehicle. The numbers they gave on this vehicle are:

    E350 Sedan MF= 0.00136
    27mo/12k = 67% residual 36mo/12k = 58% residual

    $1295 down 27mo/12k (67% RV)= $703 + tax

    $1295 down 36mo/12k (58% RV)= $719 + tax

    or

    $2500 down 27mo/12k (67% RV)= $655 + tax

    $2500 down 36mo/12k (58% RV)= $683 + tax

I am far more interested in the E550 but I can't justify the MF I am being quoted. What is a MF that should be quoted? Also- and very importantly- what dealer fees should I expect and which can I negotiate out? I definitely do not want a lease end fee, which I have had on all 3 of my previous MB leases. I'd like to know what fees I can avoid and which ones I should expect to be required.

    Thank you so much!!

does anyone know if MF is different between autopay and no autopay? standard MF for E 3350 sedan 4MATIC is 0.0013 but i heard with autopay its possibly 0.0012?

    I just got back numbers on an E550 coupe from a different dealer. MSRP $71,675.00 DIscount $10k = $61,675.00 + $367.34 tax (FL is 6%, I dont know where this comes from) + $1393 Tag and Title Fees (FL tags are super cheap - like $80ish) + $699 Doc Fee + $1095 Acq Fee - $3500 USAA rebate = $61,729.00 + $1724.58 trade payoff = $63,454.22.

    36mo/12k - 0 down $961, $1725 down $905, $2725 down $874

Does this seem like a good deal? I think its curious that they left the acq fee off the four square- but it was included in the calculation of the total price.... kind of like a "ghost" fee...

What can I do to make this a better deal?

Yes. Autopay reduces the MF by .0001.

MF for the E550 coupe is "standard" - which means a range from .00195 to .00225. This is before any dealer inflation - like you saw at dealer 1.

Acquisition fee is also marked up - base for MB is $795.

RV for 36/12 is 54% - using your numbers above I get $886.70 before tax with $0 down.

Looks like there is room to negotiate.
