In Florida (and Colorado, where I live), yeah. Some states cap the dealer fee (In CA it's $80).

Simply negotiate a price to negate that amount.

Using your MSRP and selling price with a 36/15 residual of 55% for the LX model and the base MF of .00026 on the Accords, I get a pre-tax payment of $187.98/mo.

Has anyone moved states mid lease? Looking for feedback on how big of a deal it was. I'm looking to start a new lease now in NY but will be moving to NJ in a few months. I was advised by leasing company to wait until I'm in NJ to start the lease since moving the lease and re-registering is a real hassle.

209 a month 1057 at signing for the first month, acquisition, dmv fees and taxes.

That sounds like good advice. When you lease in either of those states, the tax for the full lease is paid upfront.

hi, i got a quote of 247 /month with $344 oop (first month included) + reg/plates. 2014 LX 4dr. They've since offered to lower that $180 when i declined the offer. im not sure of the MSRP or final selling price but does this seem like an good deal? I know it is at 57% with a buyout of $13,400.

Also, is it even a good idea to buy it out at the end of do we loose drastically? I would like to own the vehicle but dont want a high payment at the moment.

What is the selling price? Georgia has their "ad valorem" tax, which adds 6.75% to the selling price of the car.

MF is .00026 and 36/12 residual for the EX-L V6 w/ NAV is 53%.

Hey All- Just want to make sure I got a good deal on my lease here in NJ. Signed up for the Accord Sport Manual, MSRP $24,505. Lease - 12k/36 months Invoice is $22,495. Brought him down to apprx $20,900 plus 1,081 for tags, documentation ect for a total of $21,981. Getting it for $240/month (including taxes) with $750 upfront (incl 1st months payment). Hi I am somewhat of a newbie in regards to leasing so humor me here on my questions.... I am considering trading in my wife's CRV on a new Accord EX-L (4 cylinder with no navi) lease. I am in Texas and would like to know the residual % on a 36mo 12k/ lease. Also in Texas the full amount of taxes are paid on a leased car, so I am assuming those taxes would work like any other trade in where I pay taxes on the difference b/w the sales price minus the trade value, correct? Also any equity in my trade (which is only about 1k-1.5k tops) would help reduce the payment. Any incentives you know of I would appreciate. Thanks!!!!

MF is .00026 and the 36/12 residual on the EX-L is 55%.

I believe you are correct that the difference between the selling price and the trade in value affects your tax obligation.

$1500 dealer cash available on the Accord.

We don't recommend you use the trade equity as a down payment - if the car is stolen or totaled, you are out that money.

I checked a Honda dealer near me that has "no haggle" pricing and had many 2014 EX-L Accord (4 cylinders) with MSRP of 29,060 priced at 25,500. I would assume the 25,500 sales price already includes the 1500 dealer cash, correct?
Dumb question, but let's say the car sitting on the lot has a MSRP of 29060. You then add a few accessories. I would assume you have added to the MSRP with these additions and then take the 55% residual off of this new MSRP. For illustration purposes... lets say I add a body kit for 2100. The MSRP would then be 31160, correct?
Lastly, the information you provided to me in your previous response was very helpful. Are the residual % listed somewhere publically for me to see anywhere?

Most likely

You can't residualize most accessories. Adding a lot of accessories is a good way to kill a good lease deal.

Just leased a 2014 Accord EX-L V6 Coupe with Navi manual transmission. Agreed upon price of the car was $28,000 with destination included.
MF - .00026%, Residual $16,595

I put no money down except for first months payment, doc fee, taxes on doc fee and registration fees at signing. I capitalized the $595 acquisition fee and sales tax into the gross cap cost. I'm leasing in NY where the total sales tax for leases is due upfront.

Monthly payments come to $373.25

.00026 MF and 50% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr. Dropping NAV adds 2% to the residual.

The extra 45K miles would reduce the residual by a per/mile amount. I'm not sure what that amount is, but most likely $0.10-0.20 per mile. That's going to make for a pretty hefty lease payment.

RV is 54% and base MF is .00026 with $1500 lease cash.

With your MSRP and cap cost, I get a pre-tax payment of $234.71.

Just leased the 2014 Accord LX coupe Automatic in South Florida. Traded in my 05 Taurus SE with 82,000 miles (CarMax offered me $1500 for it). With the trade-in, I paid nothing down (not even 1st payment) and got my monthly lease payment at $200.00 including tax for 36 months @ 12,000 miles per year. The MSRP is listed as $25,265.

From other offers I had received at VW and Mazda, I was thrilled with this deal and absolutely love the car. Is this a good deal for this model?
