    Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know why dealers can discount the car so much from $36500? I went to Toyota for the similar type of Sienna and they laughed me out of the showroom with the pricing I was showing them from this site.

Dealer was Shockley Honda in Frederick, MD. Next closest was Pohanka Honda @ $31,750.

It depends on the region you're at. Some regions has more incentive than the others. It's hard to compare a 2015 Toyota Sienna and a 2015 Odyssey. The '15 Sienna just had a major interior redesign whereas '15 Odyssey is due for a redesign in the '16 MY. So the '15 sienna holds the value slightly more than the '15 Odyssey.

Thank You. Did you walk into those places for quotes or did internet shopping first before going to their place. Once, you are there, they start pressurizing all sorts of deals and gimmicks. And most of the times they say, "price is too good to be shared on the internet". Also, how has your experience been with the Odyssey so far?

Getting a quote of 33.6 K OTD for ex-l with RES. Price of the van is 31K in Florida

I have not been able to get lower quote on the EX-L than $33,553 OTD. I've emailed back and forth with several dealerships and NONE can beat it in the Indianapolis area. They act like I'm getting a steal of a deal, but based on prices I've seen here I don't feel that way. What gives? Is it just the area I live in?

I've also emailed some neighboring states for better prices, but none are able to beat this quote either by more than $50 bucks.

    $31,198 Base
    $171 Fees
    $2,183 Tax
    $33, 553 Total

Nellie i am getting a similar deal. It really only seems bad becuase of how amazing deal people on this board are getting, also check their state tax and fees , they also add much to the price.
This is the very best price i received so far, and i will most likely get it for this :/

    INTERNET SELLING PRICE: $30,206
    DESTINATION and HANDLING: $880
    SUBTOTAL: $31,086
    STATE SALES TAX: $2176.02
    NJ TIRE TAX: $7.50
    DOCUMENTATION FEE: $369
REGISTRATION: $401 for 4 year MV registration with lien

*TOTAL OUT THE DOOR PRICE: $34,039.52

I also to seem to be getting a terrible deal by reading others but it is way under invoice. So you are getting a good deal.

Just wanted to thank all of the people that have chimed in on there purchase. With the tips and pricing that others have disclosed I was able to get an Odyssey EX-L for just under 30K. And I was able to get the HondaCare for 8 Years 120,000 miles for $1395. When I tell my colleagues, no one believes you can go from 36,500 to 30K somehow. Toyota can't even compete with these prices. I got it on the last day of the month of course and a lot of work but it was well worth it.

Finalized my purchase last night. This forum helped me greatly - I don't think I will buy a car another way again. I emailed many dealerships and some out of state before settling on a price.

    Located in Indianapolis.

    $30583 Base
    $149 Doc Fee
    1.25 Tire Fee
    $2140.81 Tax
    32, 874.06 TOTAL OTD

Does anyone buy the GAP insurance offered at Financing?? We got a price $1300 for the 8 year/120K extended warranty from Hyannis.

Hi everyone! I want to say thanks to all of you for posting, it was very helpful. I purchased an EX-L for $31, 444 Plus TTL and dealer extras for OTD total $33758 in Fort Worth, Texas at the end of April. They really made me work to get it. I did all the research and internet pricing as advised in this forum, but they still tried the bait and switch when I arrived at the dealership. I am pleased with the vehicle, but still reeling from the lousy sales experience at the dealership (I have been a customer here for more than 20 years). If I had to do it again, I would not! I would rather pay an additional $1000 to go elsewhere. After the fact, I had side protectors put on for an additional cost of $347!!!! I turned down the offer for all weather floor mats for $457 and purchased a really nice digital cut out set from Weathertech for $257.
I waited before posting here, because I wanted to offer them the opportunity to call me after the sale....so far...nope...
There were 3 reasons I purchased from them. First, price finally was right after several excrutiatingly agonizing encounters, second, they wore me down, and third, the sales person we ended up with at the end was so pleasant and knowlegdable, that he really cinched the deal. His name is Nathan Martinez and any Dealership looking for an exceptional Salesperson should Grab this guy!

Picked up a 2015 EX-L with vehicle purchase price of $32.4k. Total OTD with Illinois TTL was $35.5k. We sat around for a long time debating the Odyssey vs. Sienna and the salesman kept offering us add-ons. We ended up with the all-weather mats, trunk liner, and wheel locks thrown in.

    Congrats on the new van!
I picked my 2015 Odyssey with RES for 32.5K (including destination, all season mats, tints, doc fee) + OK sales tax OTD 34125

Seems like many people are getting 2015 Odyssey EX-L (no navigation and dvd entertainment) for $29K-31K including destination charge ($880).... plus Texas title and taxes... Can someone post their buying cost (i.e. sales price +destination $880) in Houston or Texas? Thanks.

Had a lot of trouble finding a deal here in Houston. Ended up with a fairly solid, though not a screaming deal:

Odyssey EX-L (no NAV or RES)

    Total OTD: $33,166

    Car Price: $30,088
    Destination: $880
    Sales Tax (TX 6.25%): $1,936
    Title/Doc Fees: $252

I will say that the Honda dealers here in Houston are very tough on price and unreasonably stubborn with their dealer packs and add-ons.

I bought w Big Star Honda (Jim Bullock) and they offered fair pricing at first inquiry with no games.  They beat the lowest and best offers I received from 5 other local dealers by $1500-$2000.

Now I'm debating whether to buy the 8yr Hondacare warranty for $1300 from an online dealer...it's a tough call.

Can you share more details about your buying experience? I am also in Houston... is it good to buy at the month end? Any tips u can offer much appreciated.... What added accessories it included in your EX-L? Thanks.

I was doing some shopping for EX L with Navigation myself in Texas in Dallas area. Dealer gave me option of 32111 MRP plus Doc Fee + Tax + TTL ... Out the door price = 35500 (including a propack price)
Ready to include some accessory like Mud Flap , Wheel Locks , Door Protectors (something to put on door) , Bumper protectors , Matt in Trunk , Net in Trunk , all season mats

I might buy car without NAV but I did not ask price breakdown without NAV, in general when I was bargaining with him he was always ~1.8 K less on NAV.

So I beleive it should be around 33800 Range.types. ...

please let me know if this price is good or bad. with the accessories I told

I was thinking that I will go and tell him to remove the propack and I dont need anything from him , propack was 900 $ he added (was saying propack is 1600 $ but will put for 900)

    So

    With Nav would become -> 35500 - 900 = 34600
    Without Nav would become -> 33800 - 900 = 32900

Again I am assuming this, the only number which he gave me was 35500 with 900 propack out the door.

please guide if this is good price. I have to buy it in next few days.

Anyone having success in Atlanta with strong pricing? End of month is approaching and I'm about to have a go at a couple of the local dealers. I'm in the market for an ex-l base and was thinking to offer $30k + ttl and see where I get. Any thoughts on strategy or any successful deals in Atlanta would be appreciated.

Out The Door 35300 - EX - L With Navigation, with a cheating pro pack. Cheating Propack since I am thinking this ProPack is not coming from a dealer. Its a already installed ProPack from Honda. They put there name and add 1000 to 3000 $ on top depending from dealer to dealer.

My ProPack has , Trunk Mat, Some stupid 1 mm strip painted on the door saying Honda in it, windows tint , wheel locks.

    Purchased in Dallas Texas.

    Matched 4 dealers.

Frisco TX dealer is a Fk [non-permissible content removed]*&# , he said its 43000 Out the door, Beware of the guy - His name is John Owen.
Rockwall TX dealer saying 36300 Out the door. Guy name is Chris Colleyer.
McKinney TX dealer saying 38000 Out the door. Idiot guy , his name is Chuck.

Current Honda programs are in effect through July 6th. You might get a better deal over the July 4th weekend, but it wouldn't hurt to start shopping now... The lease numbers won't change between now and then.
