Hello, I currently lease a 2012 AWD MDX with the tech package and live in NYC. My lease is up end of July and I'm planning on re-leasing another MDX. Is there anyone on the boards who has any recent experience with this in the New York City area? My experience with the original lease was ok, but I was a little wet behind the ears with the process and want to do a better job with my research/negotiation. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Used the prices mentioned in this Forum to get our new 2016 Acura MDX. Was it a good deal?
Location: SFO Bay Area
Model: 2016 AWD Tech
MSRP: $50,210
Sale Price: $46,200
TTL: 4714
OTD: 50, 914
Financed some of it at 1.99%, 72 months.
Hi,
which dealer did you get this from?
I think its ok good deal, I emailed two dealers one from Fremont and one from Stockton they both gave me same price
"MSRP: 50,210.00
Your Discounted Price: $48,118.00"
no TAX/TTL yet
Thanks
This was at Acura of Pleasanton. PM me and I can give you the Salesperson's name.

You are free to post the name here in the discussion.
Got very good information in this thread and just closed the deal for my first Acura.
Paid $42,430 before tax and surcharges (drive out at $45,500) for the 2015 fwd tech MDX (have 28 miles). Also got 2.9% for 60 months financing.
Do you all think that's a good deal?
Where did you buy? I was at the dealer tonight and the lowest he would go was $43,600 (msrp of $47,960). My goal was to get down to $42,150. However was willing to give me $1,000 more for my trade than carmax. Walked away. Let's see if I get the call tomorrow.
This blog helped me immensely to negotiate a good deal with Acura dealers. Now I want to give back my experience. I bought a new 2016 MDX AWD Base in New Jersey. I contacted the dealers and negotiated the price in email which saved time and eliminated any verbal negotiation at the dealership.
Here are the details:
MSRP: 45,785 Selling price: 41,959 Sales tax: 2,937 (7% in NJ) Doc Fee + Registration fees + NJ Tire tax: 407.5 Options: Remote Start and all season floor mats: 509 + 171
Out to door Total Paid: 45,639
Dealer: Park Ave Acura, Rochelle Park NJ. Salesman: Mano Purchase: March 2015
Hope this information is helpful. Is this a good deal?
Just had a GREAT experience at McGrath Acura Downtown Chicago working with Holly Jack buying a 2015 Graphite with ebony interior AWD MDX with Tech Package.
Cost (including destination) exclusive of sales tax (differs by county) - $45,789.65.
Also, because of good credit, was able to negotiate a finance rate at 1.79% for 60 months and 2.89% for 72 months.
Bought 2015 MDX AWD Tech in Dallas this week. $44,8xx $48,000 OTD (Ordered Weathertech Mats this AM - same price as dealer front + cargo but much better coverage.)
FYI. Was quoted $49,000 OTD for a 2016 by several dealers.
Thanks everyone for the help, feel like I saved a lot with this info!

Hi,
Big WOW... I think you got yourself pretty good deal, man...when I saw your post, I feel like I got rib off.
I got my 2016 MDX AWD Base on 3/22 and didn't pick up until 3/27 because they have to install the remote start.
MSRP: 45,785 Selling price: 43,500 + TAX/FEE stuffs Sales tax: 9.25% in San Leandro, CA Out to door Total Paid: 48,031 with Remote start included
By the way, has anyone noticed that the engine seem like kinda making noise chirping/rattle? go check car engine or maybe I got the defected engine.
I got quoted for 2016 Acura MDX SH-AWD OTD price of 44,800. Is this a good deal thinking to pull the trigger. How much does it cost to install Remote start, can this be done at a later stage.
The advantage of a dealer installed remote start at time of purchase is that the warranty on the accessory may be longer. Good question to ask at least.
I don't usually take the initiative to respond on forums but the info I received from this site was instrumental in assisting me in purchasing my new car. I think I got a great deal and I think the salesman should be lauded for his efforts.
Location: San Francisco Bay Area Model: 2016 MDX AWD (base model) MSRP: $45, 785 Sales Price: $42,339 TTL: $ 4,215 OTD: $46,554.
I got 10 online quotes from almost all of the dealers in Northern California. Nine of the quotes were very non-imaginative and came in somewhere around $1000 to $1200 less than MSRP. Only 1 dealership seemed inspired to make a sale and quoted me the $42,339 figure which was $3446 below MSRP. When the other 9 dealers eventually got back to me they all implied that the low quote was just in attempt by the salesman to eliminate the competition and that he couldn't possibly come through on the offer. Well I am here to tell you that he did. The salesman's name is Graham Copps of Elk Grove Acura. He was totally a straight shooter, played no games and was extremely professional. I highly recommend him.

@sooner - congrats! which dealership did you buy from? Did that price include any dealer accessories or incentives (additional services)?
Purchased a 2015 AWD MDX Tech with pro package for $46,250 before tax, license, and $150 doc fee. Dealer gave 15% off accessories, too. Received sub 2% financing from a local credit union. Very happy with the deal.
Dealer original price was above $50k.
Purchased in Lynnwood, WA (10 miles north of Seattle).

Just picked up my 2016 SHAWD Tech w/ tint, wheelocks, hinged cargo tray for $48k OTD w/1.55% APR.
I had a dealership in Dallas willing to pay my price of $47.5K OTD or $48K OTD w/fog and splash guard, but the sales manager's demeanor and service really put me off - so I chose to pay an $500 for better service in Arlington. Figured it will be more pleasant to deal with them when I buy my wife's TLX. Proof that the purchase is not just about numbers.
This thread and Acurazine really helped me make an informed purchase. Thanks to everyone who contributed with their numbers.
Looking for any recent purchase data in Raleigh or Charlotte area. Leith Acura in Cary quoted me $48,439 (excluding tax, title, doc, destination etc.) for MDX sh-awd tech package. Based on what I am seeing here, it is very high.

@seamdx2015 - Would you mind sharing the contact of the salesperson you dealt with at Acura of Lynwood. I am in Seattle and also looking for SHAWD + Tech and would love to get the price you got.
Mdx2017, you should try Greenville, sc dealer? I bought my mdx tech awd a month ago from there. Bc no ga dealer can match their price...FYI....mdx2017 said:
I got few quotes in Atlanta area and this is the best one so far. This is for 2016 MDX base model.
Total 43,900.
Is this a good one? Should I go ahead? Thanks.

I'm not seeing an AWD "base" (not to mention I'm having trouble with 2016 models already on sale.
But TMV for the FWD base is coming in ~$2,000 over invoice and it looks like you beat that.
Thanks for posting and enjoy the new ride!
