No information on 17,000 mile leases. Did you mean 12,000? If so, add 2% to the residual.

Also, wondering about the effect of a trade-in. I have a lease ending with about $3k equity. Would I just deduct that from the price of the car for purposes of calculating the lease payments?

.00004 MF and 55% residual. That's a whopping 7% lower than the automatic version.

You can't realize equity in a lease, unless you trade the car in, before the lease expires. If you trade it in, and you do indeed have $3000 equity, just have them cut you a check.. easier to make a clean deal on the new car, that way.

Yes, those calculations are correct .. Subaru MF is usually quite a bit higher, which accounts for the difference in rent charge.

Today my local dealer told me Touring has 60% residual and 0.00001 MF for 36/12. MSRP is $29,015, S-plan price is $27,195, then he applied $650 lease cash rebate for final cap cost $26,545. He came back with $315 per month including 6% sales tax. Using the same numbers, I got $270. Please confirm the MF and residual so I can make sure he used the correct numbers.

Dealer is offering me a 33/12 lease on GT w Tech Package for $366.85 total, incl tax and tags. MSRP is $33,550 and I have a $1,500 trade in. Also offered 42 months at $346.86, all included. Is this a good deal, and is either one particularly better?

What is the MSRP and selling price? Without those, it's hard to evaluate the strength of your offer.

33 months is the sweet spot this month ... 56% residual for 33/12 and .00001 MF. $650 lease cash.

I think the 33 month term is better, you won't be out of warranty.

The lowest mileage allowance from Mazda is 10K.

So, the 33/10 numbers are as follows:

Sport - 61% and .00001
Touring - 61% and .00001

$650 lease cash.
