2016 Honda Civic Lease Questions

OK, the new Civic has been available for a week or so now. Time to start posting some numbers. Looking at an LX or EX in Texas, 36 months and 12,000 miles a year. I think I've seen the residual should be 65%.

I know Honda isn't going to do any incentives on a brand new car, but any chance next months numbers will be any better than they are now? My current lease is up at the end of December, so I'm probably not going to be able to wait for the incentives to start showing up.

We don't have any numbers for the 2016 Civic. Sorry.

The current program for all other models is scheduled to run through the end of the year, so seems unlikely they would add incentives or improvements in December (but not impossible).

That's where I saw the 65% residual. I called a dealer and verified it. They also said they were surprised that the 39 month lease has the same residual and were positive that would end after the end of December.

Honda will do this from time to time --- make the 39 month residual the same as the 36 month residual.

Does anyone know if MFs from 2015 model are still relevant? Trying to get an idea of what to expect when I go in and talk numbers tomorrow. SoCal specifically.

MF is higher because it's a new model. Many of the new Honda products are using that MF as well (HR-V, CR-V other than LX trim, Pilot).

$1250 lease cash + $200 bonus lease cash.

It's a dealer incentive, so you won't see it anywhere.

Residual is calculated off the bottom line number of the window sticker (MSRP + options + destination).

This is the same college student who is exploring Elantras at the same time - nothing really negative, and some deferred student loan debt shown on credit report as "paying on time". Thanks!

.00083 MF and 70%/64%/64% residual for 24/36/39 months.

Every bank is picky about credit. Lower credit tiers result in higher money factors.

Thanks!! Reason for asking is last weekend a family member with 640 FICO score got a Ford lease at promotional rate with $0 down, totally legit deal. It was a repeat lease and she has history with Ford, but I don't think her FICO for her first Ford lease was any better.

Honda does not offer 10k leases.

36/15 numbers - .00083 and 62% (EX-T) or 60% (EX-L). Add 2% for 12K

Would need to know the MSRP and adjusted capitalized cost to run the numbers.

Also, what state and tax rate is this?
