Had a dealer work numbers for me on lease, 36mo, 12k miles per year. HOWEVER he said the MF of .00165 applies if you pay the sec deposit and .00175 if not.My calculations matched his to the penny using those MF's.

How do you figure? The .00165 saves just 3.00 per month. 3 x 36 is 108.00. The sec deposit is 395.

I'm trading in my car and getting $13750 for it with a payoff on my loan of $8400- so $5.350 towards Pilot.
I can put and additional $5K down. Also have a credit score of 790 (if that matters at all)
36m/12k lease.
What are the MF and RV for New Hampshire in Dec 2015?

I'll assume AWD - .00165 and 62% for 36/12 on the EX-L with NAV

We do not recommend making a down payment or using trade equity to lower your lease payment - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

Have the dealer cut you a check for the trade equity and use that to supplement your now higher payment.

You get the security deposit back.... You save $36/yr to "loan" them $395. 9% return on your $395.

What is the MSRP and selling price?

What is the breakdown of the $2000 due at signing?

Lease numbers are .00165 and 63% for 36/12 (I'm assuming FWD as you are in SoCal).

MSRP was $36805. The 2000 due at signing was 1000 for cap reduction and something else...can't remember the details. MMF was 0.00175 62% 39/12. And yes FWD. It was $410 including tax.

So, MF is marked up slightly.

Dealer cannot modify residual, so I would confirm that this is the model you want - the 36/12 residual on the EX-L Sensing AWD is 62%.

What we see is Honda Finance doesn't offer 10K/yr, but there are plenty of posts from NY and surrounding areas where it's offered, evidently. If offered, add 1% to the 12K/yr residual. (So, probably still a Honda Finance lease, but verify it).

In order to calculate the lease payment we would need to know the sticker price and the negotiated selling price.

Could be right .... it is the standard Honda MF. We don't have it documented in the information we have.

What is the selling price - or better yet, the net cap cost inclusive of taxes and fees.

$450/mo without taxes seems pretty high ... but, we'd need to know the net cap cost to determine the payment.

I just got a quote for an EX-L Navi and was given the same money factor as you: .00175. Also given a residual of $23,763, a bit lower than what I have seen here. Was aiming to attempt to tie this thing up for ~$450 all in for 39 months with no down payment, but too far off to bother with negotiations for now.

.00175 MF includes a waiver for not making a security deposit. Make the deposit and get .00165.

Looking to lease for 36 /15K. The dealer was offering 39 Month lease. I will be tight on mileage over 36 months, so I don't want to do 39. They said that they can do 36 but the program is 39. What does the really mean?

Also - looking at honda pilot Touring and honda EXL-Nav. Are the residuals the same for 36/15k?

Like others, I was only being quoted .00175 as the MF. How much is the security deposit you mention. ?

Any help appreciated

All the incentives are on the 39 month lease. You get 39K miles if you do 39 months, so there is no difference than 36mo, 36K miles in that regard.

Yes... if it's 15K/yr, then a 39 month lease gives you 48,750 miles.

I had been to another NJ dealer and the price he quoted for 2016 Pilot EX is,

Out of door expense: around 1500 including first month payment.
$440 per month for 39 months.

Please let me know ur opinion.
