I have a few question as someone who has never leased a vehicle ever. Can you tell me what is and what is not Negotiable in leasing a car when I start talking with dealerships, I will be looking to lease a Legacy Premium. Looks like MSRP is around $25,600. Are there standard Subaru Fees or is it Dealership dependent. Anything I should look out for as far as excessively high or unnecessary fees.

Selling price is negotiable. You want to make sure the MF is not marked up.

Just about to lease a 16 Legacy Limited, all the options in Dallas TX. Believe its package 4. What are you guys seeing for MF and residuals. I am getting quoted .0009 for the MF and residuals are the same as what I have seen in the above posts. Feel like another dealer showed it to me as .0004 10 or so days ago. Same as you posted on the 17th.

Maximum markup is .00050. You do the math.

Thanks for the info. Is there a way to see the MF for myself at the dealer. Another one showed me the MF/Residual value table. Just ask to see it? I assume they don't have to show me, but is there any other way to verify they are marking it up and trying to hide that fact?

The information is confidential. No, they don't have to show it to you, or disclose the money factor.

So, yes.... just ask.

But, if they say it's .00090, then you don't have to verify it, we just told you.

The only variance in Subaru numbers are for New England. Otherwise, the numbers are national.

I'm also in Indiana. Were you able to close a deal on a new legacy? I'm having some issues finding the vehicle we want as their's a recall so there's some vehicles listed in the inventory that they can't sell to us. Apparently they have to take care of the customers that already own legacy vehicles before they check out the new inventory to fix.
