Has Jaguar released MF and Residual Rates for F-Pace models?

If so, can you please give me the MF and Residual for 36m/12k on the Prestige and R-Sport models?

Thanks!

I don't think that Jaguar offers MSDs. Haven't see any make that uses Chase for leasing that does.

Any thoughts on the below that I received from a dealer? I find it hard to see how anyone would lease a $54k car for $920/month. This was for a Prestige on a 36/15 lease.

    MSRP - 54,265
    Residual - 30,388
    Loan - 23,877

    Acq fee - 795
    VSI Bank fee - 225

    Cap cost - 55,285
    plus - 30,388
    Mon Factor Amt (@ .00196) - 85,673

    85,673 x .00196 = 197

Cap cost minus depreciation - 55,285
    Less dep - 30,388
    Loan Amount - 24,897

    24,897 divided by 36 months = 691
    691 + 167 = 859/ mo + sales tax of 7% = 919/ mo

Well, the 36 month MF on the Prestige is .00136, so the dealer is marking that up.

The math is correct, but the inflated MF is adding $55/mo ($865/mo with tax)

Not cheap to lease, but neither are its primary competitors (Q7, XC90)

a dealer in Miami gave me different numbers for the prestige 36/10k .00166 and 59% instead of .00136, that means another $25 a month, is that a markup on the dealer? or Chase?

That is a markup by the dealer for extra profit.

I have to agree with russejony, the lease rate is insane for a mid 50k car, albeit from UK but nevertheless. Do you think there is a chance for it to get significantly better in time (6 months to a year)?

Michaell, i dont think the Q7 and XC90 are its competitors (not according to size anyway; luxury compact suv vs mid to full size luxury suv, 2 row vs 3 row), more like Macans, X3 and Q5, maybe X5. Oh right, the XC90 can be a 5 pas and it is closer in price to this Jag so maybe the volvo.

Which reminds me, my brother in law got a lease for an X5 (mid $67k msrp) in the mid $600/mth rate with taxes rolled in and 0 cap cost and no security deposit. How could this be? They are both euro vehicles but the one costing more cost less to lease. I understand its Jags first SUV and a completely new vehicle, blah blah... but could there be such a big price difference in leasing a mainstream car vs a new small sport/luxury car?

Thanks for the response in advance.

    Edgar.

It all depends on the lease numbers. BMW is famous for inflating the residuals, which keeps lease payments low. And, with all the new competition, the X5 isn't selling quite as well, so dealers are more willing to offer discounts.

Both the lease numbers and the (lack of) discounting work against the F-Pace.
