I just leased a 2017 Chevy Volt for 36 months with base MF and 10k miles with a discount of $4300+$4550 lease cash + $500 conquest. Any idea how the $7500 govt rebate plays into this? Is that already accounted for? It seems like Chevy doesn't do $7500 govt rebate on the Volts.

As on all leases, the federal rebate goes to the car owner (the bank). Some banks pass along the whole rebate, but others, just a part of it (as in this case).

If I'm at $35k MSRP, what can I subtract from that other than negotiated discount? Somewhere I read $4450 of the $7500 is applied to CCR and the rest is to boost the RV? Is that accurate? And is the lease cash completely separate from that?

Unfortunately, I don't have the answers to any of those questions. The rebate belongs to the bank, who owns the car. We don't have any information on how much of that they might pass along in a rebate.

36/10 numbers - nothing with lower miles available from GM.

LT - .00040 and 58% $2300 lease cash
Premier - .00060 and 56%. $1925 lease cash

Thank you! Here's my deal:

MSRP: 39,870 (Premier) - not sure of the total discount from the dealer because it changed a bit from my initial inquiry, but the MF and residual are as noted above. On a 10k/36mo lease it's $350.00/mo (including San Francisco tax) with 818.70 total cash due. First month's payment is also covered by Chevrolet. Does this seem like a good deal? Thank you.

The MSRP on one I was looking at is $35,500. To pay for tax, title, license, dealer fees and keep the $299 advertised lease payment I would need to put down $4300. I'm in Florida. They quoted a 49% residual which after the 39 month lease that would be $17,395. Is this a fair price?

Not sure if all my information is correct, but from what I understand on a 2017 Premier Volt lease....

Federal Rebate = $7500
California Rebate = $1500
Lease Cash = $4235

Total Savings = $13,235.

Would this be the $ amount off of MSRP one can expect when leasing a Premier Volt?

The GM numbers do seem to be regional, and we don't have the CA numbers to confirm what you're being told.

So, it's possible. But, I'd reach out to multiple Chevrolet dealers to confirm that number.

If you lease, you don't get the federal rebate - the bank does. Which is why the lease cash is there - to offset some of that credit that you aren't getting.

Anyone know what i can expect for MF, Residual % , lease cash, etc. on 36 mo. lease?
would like to know for both 12 k per year and 15k per year.
I am currently leasing 2013 volt so should qualify for $500 in loyalty cash as well?

Anyway, I show the base MF as 1.44%, so the dealer is marking that up on you. 48% residual is correct.
