What are the numbers in Texas on a 2016 2wd Escalade with Luxury package at 36/15 and is there a different term # that may be in a sweet spot?

Can you share the breakdown for the Escalade (not ESV) for 36/15? Not sure if the residual changes based on trim level, but if it does, can you provide all of them?

Also, any incentives/rebates?

What is the adjusted cap cost? I get $745/mo with your numbers - I'm guess some fees are being added in to your "total price" amount.

Hmm, we don't have trim levels in our docs; just option codes.

1SA - 63%
1SB - 60%
1SC - 58%
1SD - 56%

All the above are for 36/15; add 2% for 12K

Payment looks about right. Don't know if the wear and tear is negotiable, but I wouldn't be likely to add $25/mo. to my lease payment for it. (Of course, at this price level, it doesn't seem so bad).

Your quote looks to be in the ballpark, based on the tax rate.

It is a 2016 Escalade Luxury 2WD. It is a "loaner" vehicle so has ~5K miles on it.

The MSRP is listed at 79,635 and the residual is 61% minus $841 for the mileage on it.

The sales price they are giving me is 70,635 + 595 ACQ fee + ~$5000 in taxes, making the total cap cost, 76,253. Money Factor is .001833 on a 39 month and 10K miles per year. The quote document is attached to the post.

What do you guys think?

I'm just a few dollars off the dealer calculation.

Where do you live that you pay taxes on the entire selling price?

Can you confirm with the dealer that this is a GM Financial lease?

I'm showing .00146 as the base MF for GM Financial; if this is marked up, it's costing you $45-50/mo on the payment.

Thanks for the quick response! I am in GA - they changed the laws a couple years ago and its a little convoluted in how they charge tax. I thought that the tax should only be on the lease payments, but am not 100% sure.

I'll confirm the lease holder with the dealer, although on the doc, it does say "GMFINLEASE01" as the lease institution.

Are the doc fees of ~$700 standard or is that high in your experience?

Yes.. GA charges tax on the full selling price.
GA and FL also lead the nation in onerous doc fees (yay, we are #1!)

That doesn't look like an amazing discount for an outgoing GM model, especially a service loaner. Couple that with a marked up money factor and big doc fee, and I'd push for a better deal.
