That's very disturbing, seeing as how the numbers released in March are not set to expire until 30 April.
I had 3 separate dealers all confirm the program changed on the CX-9 GT yesterday removing the 2700 in lease cash as well as adjusting the MF and residual.

Then, that's probably true. If so, maybe we'll see the updated program, this week.
First off, can you please confirm what S-Plan pricing in NY would be for a 2017 GT? Then lease pricing based off of 12/36?
Also, when calculating the residual, should it be based off the negotiated/S-Plan price, or the price before that discount?
Can also confirm that the $2700 rebate was dropped as of yesterday and the MF went to .0013 unfortunately. Should we expect to see this maybe change in May? Better or worse? TIA!
Edit to Add: Assuming a rebate on the vehicle ever comes back, that should stack with the S-Plan pricing, correct? I think when I got a quote in March they were using the $2,700 as if it were the discount with S-Plan. Hard to find anyone who will actually give you an honest deal.
Hi Can you pls confirm revised April money factor and residual% for GT AWD with 15K/Year. Appreciate your time. Is there "any" lease cash on the table.

No insight into S-plan pricing
Residual is based off the MSRP - bottom number of the factory window sticker
We haven't yet seen the updated Mazda numbers for April, but the $2700 seems to have gone away
No clue what will happen to the numbers down the road
CX-9 is pretty popular; engage multiple dealers and get them to compete against each other for your business.

Looking to lease a 2016 Mazda CX-9 Gran Touring or a 2017 CX-9 Touring, both in Florida, FWD, 36/10. Can you please help me with the MF and RV for March?

Here are my numbers on the 2017:
2017 Touring + Premium/Tech MSRP $38,910 $412 / Tax in 36/10 $1000 Total Due at Signing. Florida Tax, 7%
On the calculator, with a $995.95 dealer fee, $400 license/tag, $80 doc fee and $595 acquisition fee is coming out to $380/month tax in. What am I missing?

What is the selling price and/or CAP cost?
$1000 dealer fee? sheepish
Selling price $34,237. Does it make sense?
Assuming the dealer fee and the acquisition fee are rolled in, and the other fees are paid out of your $1000 upfront, I get a CAP cost of $38,832, and a payment of $362/mo.+tax. $387/mo. with 7% tax
Hi Lease program is not attractive compared to last month on 2017 GT AWD in TX. I am thinking whether to wait till May Memorial day sales. Any advice whether Mazda discounts or will announce attractive terms for Memorial day month.
This price was a full 1k less than the next closest offer in the area.
Funny/sad aside: I had a sales agent from one of the dealerships tell me that since the Signature was clearly out of my budget that he could offer me a nice GT after I rejected his offer (which happened to be the highest of the 4 offers I received). I had to let this sales manager know that my wife and I decided on the Mazda CX-9 Signature over the Volvo XC90 Momentum Plus before wishing him a good day.
Need help. I got a decent quote for 36 months lease for Signature trim and just as I was completing the formalties to take the possession of the car, I was told that my H1b validity should be equal to the length of my lease term and in my case it was valid only till June 2018.
The deal fell through and the visa validity was a challenge with other dealers as well and expressed their helplessness since Mazda in North Carolin has a tie-up with Chase for financing the vehicle and they have a strict policy on the visa validity for leasing.
My green card is under process and I have cleared the I-140 stage of green card process which means my visa will be extended in a block of three years till i get a green card. This info and the fact that I had an excellent credit score did not budge Chase to change the position.
I would like to know if there is any recourse that I can take, like buying from neighboring state (provided Mazda has a tie up with different lender for leasing) or put me in touch with dealer who can waive off this requirement.

We are seeing more of this, lately. Not sure what's driving it, but the banks are being more strict about visa status when approving leases or loans.
Your dealer can work with another bank - if one is available to write Mazda leases. Beyond that, I don't have any specific suggestions

This not anything new. Happen to me with long enough F-1 visa that covers entire lease several years ago. Chase is notorious on this issue and you have to stay away from Mazda and Subaru since they just work with chase bank for lease. Even GM refused to lease me with any bank due to short visa duration.
Shop for Honda or Infiniti and be prepared to provide all documents about your visa extension etc...
I would say it is Manufacturer to Consumer instant rebate... Some dealers opt to pass that to the consumer and some not... You have to ask to make sure you get it.

Thanks Michaell! This is my first time looking at a lease (second vehicle purchase). Are there any other tips you can provide? Fees I should inquire about? Gap Insurance?

I show $2700 lease cash on the 2017 CX-9 GT AWD.
Might be time to find another dealer.

Any advice in general?
