    First one was for zipcode 49441, 2nd time was for zipcode 34217.

    I have vehicles registed in both zip codes, so I am trying to see which zipcode makes more sense to get the Challenger.

    Just offered a lease deal on a 2018 Challenger HC widebody. 36/10 with 2k down 941.51 a month. Dealer quoting $2086 under invoice of $74643. MSRP 76,124. Trade in is 5k owed though. Still seems a little( $20 a month) high. Any thoughts, comments would be appreciated.

    $5K in negative equity is adding almost $140/mo to the payment.

    What is the adjusted CAP cost?

    The problem seems to be that even when you think dealers are being upfront they still try and confuse you. I know the trade in is pumping up this deal but their paperwork say they are losing money on this deal. I just don’t believe that....

    RV and MF are national; only the incentives vary by location.

    Hellcat WB - .00011 and 61%
    Hellcat - .00012 and 65%
    No lease incentives on either model.

    $4250 incentive

    I get $325/mo.+tax with that adjusted CAP, so the monthly payment calculation looks good.

    Seems like with $4250 of incentives, the adjusted CAP should be a lot lower than just $400 less than the sale price.
    But, the sale price is $3500 under MSRP, so maybe some of those incentives are accounted for there?

    I don't know, because I don't follow pricing that closely. Nothing looks out of line, but it's possible you could do better on price. I'd love to see a breakdown of how they got from the sale price to the adjusted CAP.

    Those two "retail" incentives are for purchase only.

    If we assume a $2591 discount
    Less $500 bonus cash
    Less $3750 lease cash

    = $22064
    +$595 acq.fee
    +$500 dealer fee (guessing)
    +$300 DMV fees (estimating)
    +$385 tax on rebates (9%?)
    = $23844 adjusted CAP

    You'll notice I'm $1100 under the adjusted CAP your dealer gave you.

    That gives me $292/mo.+tax (9%?) = $319/mo.

    Try that out, and see what happens.
