I have 47 items on my subscription list and they're all still there. maybe I'll try closing out of TH again and see if it happens to me.

The same problem here as well.

      Cheers Pat.

see down here, where it says "You are here: Town Hall......Subaru Crew." That "subaru Crew" is what I have in my Favorites. Try clicking it. It is now a dead link. :-(

I have to "Search" Town Hall for Subaru Crew to get here right now.
  • hondafriekhondafriek Member Posts: 2,984
I used to have at the bottom related discussions that's what I used to click on, that's not there anymore. To get in now I have to do the same as you, and that's a pain in the butt.

      Cheers Pat.

I click on message center and everything is still there....
  • subearusubearu Member Posts: 3,613
works for me as well, either clicking the Town Hall part or the Owners Club part or the Subaru Crew part. Only on my very first login to TH using that welcome page link (if you click the Town Hall word, that's where it takes you) do I occasionally get a 'page can't be displayed'. Today it's working ok, the past few days it's been stubborn for 3 or 4 tries. Then it works suddenly.

But, still, Message Center and Subaru Crew work fine for me. Very puzzled at what's happening to you guys, that indeed would be a pain.

None of those links are working for me, I have to click townhall, then Subaru make then related discussions to get into every thread, this is a pain to say the least.

      Cheers Pat.

....at this point, I'm as much in the dark as the rest of you, but it has been reported. Now all we need is the hamster keeper to show up and corral that critter.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

I want my predictable list of message boards!
  • rshollandrsholland Member Posts: 19,788
I don't use them, as many of you know.

I show "All Subaru Discussions" and bookmark that link. I then set my Edmunds preferences to show most recent threads first. There will be 9 pages of threads, of which 3 or 4 are active; the rest are all archived threads.

If you stay on top of it, which most of us do here, only page 1 will be necessary to access.

I'm having problems here too, but my bookmarked "All" link is still accessable. I just can't access it from the bottom of the page (nor can I spell-check). I now have to access from a folder I created in Explorer, where all my bookmarked sites are. It's a little bit of an inconvenience, but it works.

Maybe this is a good time for those having problems to try my solution.

BTW, the reason I use the "All" rather than subscriptions, is that with my method, any new threads that are Subie-related automatically show up; not so when you're using subscriptions (unless you look for them the old fashioned way).

....I got in touch with JohnV. He lassoed that hamster and smacked it back in line. If you know of anyone still having trouble, please let us know!

I don't use subscriptions either, I just bookmark the Crew page, but it was a dead link. Working fine now though.

    mine's back too ....
  • hondafriekhondafriek Member Posts: 2,984
    Is now working too,

      Cheers Pat.

Natures Miracle worked, no more smell, Thank you again, Loosh, they have natures Miracle specifically for cats in case you ever need it.

Not my week, today had my first CEL. and some skuzzbutt put a good size door ding in the drivers side rear quarter panel, pulled battery lead and reset CEL, I have a week left on the BtoB warranty.

So if something is off hope it triggers again before that, I don't have the luxury of Patti interceding with Subaru of Canada If I am just out of warranty.Sometime this week the Dent guy will have another little job fixing the ding.

      Cheers Pat.

ohhhh, we were big NM useres when we had a cat. A 16 year old cat, to be precise.

CEL, eh? I know you didn't run it through a car wash so it can't be that (mine threw a CEL every time). Probably minor, Pat, hopefully.
  • hondafriekhondafriek Member Posts: 2,984
Loosh, probably minor, hopefully, fingers crossed.

      Cheers Pat.

Is the hamster a UAW member? :o)

Pat: well, the streak of 3 is done, let's hope that it.

I wanted a ODBC reader like Brian has, but never found a group buy.

no one over at nabisco has a group buy going for some sort of OBDII reader (not ODBC juice! ;) Guess you just need to watch for 'em, or you could set one up.

I'd let you borrow my OBD-2 scanner if you were nearby... ;-)

    LOL, just realized my mistake!

Question is, does ODBII use ODBC technology? ;-)

    -juice
  • hypovhypov Member Posts: 3,068
juice was probably thinking OBDII while doing something ODC, and was briefly interrupted with an ABC question :D

  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
Stop OCDing over ODBC and OBDII, OK? :-)

Yeah, but my depression over all this rain is clearly outwieghed by the satisfaction of watching how nicely it beads up on my car!

    Jon
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
That is a nice little trophy.

It's funny, the rain is beading up on my Miata's new top! It's a vinyl Robbins top, glass window so I can finally SEE!

To bring this back on topic, please Subaru, build the B9SC! The Fence would collapse and I'd run, not walk, to my nearest dealer!

We got 2-3" of snow this morning following a Sunday afternoon of biking and kite flying! The Russians must still be controlling our weather....

3" of snow here in the Twin Cities area this morning starting about 9AM. Before the morning was over, there was 122 reported accidents, many in multi-car accidents. The temp was around 28 degrees. But the weather people claim (once again) it will get warmer and we will see the sun Tuesday (right, sure).

But the subies can handle this stuff just great. It's all those other drivers/car/SUV's/4X4's......

it was in the 60's a couple of days ... snow all melted with temps and the rain .. then about an inch night before last ... and back in the 20's ... grrrrrr
  • rob_mrob_m Member Posts: 820
sunny, clear and 40's all week.

I hand washed and vacuumed the GT and Outback on Sunday.

It basically snowed all day yesterday. It was snowing this morning. And now, surprise!, chance of significant snow Wednesday night.

Lucky (our Legacy) was hit from behind today. Wife says the damage is not that bad, but the other guy's license plate poked two holes in the bumper plus there may be hidden damage. She's a little sore in the neck, too. Ugh.

It was an older gentleman who said his foot slipped off the brake pedal. But he must have been following too closely or he would also have had time to recover.

Any how, now the good news, our friends that are adopting got their referral, the boy is really cute and they hope to bring him home from Russia next month. You may remember that I'm The Godfather...

Time to buy the pinky ring.

    Glad Lana is fine :)
Get her some "ThermaCare" air-activated heatwraps. Works great to soothe the soreness... need I say how I know ;-)
