    Is your lower depreciation payment factoring in the trade-in? It's a loss of $696 over the 36 months, so that may account for the $19.33 discrepancy. Or is that despite tradein?

    Rent charge being an extra dollar is probably because of the -696 of negative equity.

    Their cap cost, breaking even ontrade in (e.g., if I were to pay it all, so subtract the -696 and the -82 of interest from that), should be $42600.

    Could I get how you calculated the cap cost?

    I am not factoring the trade in, just using the numbers you provided; I added the acquisition and doc fees, along with the title charge, to the selling price, to get the cap cost.

    Lots of assumptions and guesses, however. If we had a copy of the lease worksheet from the dealer, we could analyze the quote.

    Deal check for zip 30189. They are saying 55% Residual and .00205 MF (spidey sense says this is marked up?) on 24/10. What do y'all have for MF/RV/Rebates, etc. The vehicle is a 2019 Audi A5 Sportback Premium Plus 2.0T with options.

    Discount is large but the cap cost is not clear (the "balance" in the below quote?). I didn't ask dealer discount vs. rebate questions, and I don't think I care at this point with their total discount figure.

    Update: I just notice they said 24/10 in the e-mail with the "55% Residual and .00205 MF" but the quote says 36/10. Gotta love the process!
